Why they're an Icon

Executive chef: Nick Badovinus

From the OpenTable editors: Maximalism reigns supreme at Town Hearth, the larger-than-life steakhouse from acclaimed chef and restaurateur Nick Badovinus. Dozens of glowing chandeliers, rich leathers, and a massive custom-made fish tank set the tone for the restaurant’s surf and turf extravaganza. Come on the weekend to order The Lenox, an open fire-roasted bone-in prime rib, carved to order and made for sharing.

Our regular server Tim was on point, as always. We enjoyed the prime rib, enough fur 3 and the crudo app was delicious!

We finally made our way to Town Hearth after hearing so many rave reviews, and it did not disappoint. We weren’t celebrating anything special, just enjoying a nice evening out, but the experience made it feel like an occasion in itself. From the moment we sat down, our server Jorge took excellent care of us—warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere was lively yet intimate, the perfect setting for indulging in some seriously good food. We started with a Passion Kicker cocktail, a fantastic balance of sweetness and spice that set the tone for the night. For the main course, we ordered the 12 oz Filet and the 16 oz Delmonico, both cooked to absolute perfection. The steaks were juicy, tender, and packed with that rich, smoky char you can only get from a world-class grill. Our sides rounded everything out—the whipped potatoes were buttery and smooth, while the mac & cheese was the definition of comfort food. To finish, we treated ourselves to the Crème Brûlée, and it was the perfect ending. The caramelized top had the ideal crunch, giving way to a silky, creamy custard underneath. Pure perfection. Between the exceptional service, the incredible food, and the overall experience, this is easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Town Hearth knows how to do it right, and we’ll definitely be back.

If you are like me and occasionally end up in cities you like, but only for a short stay? You tend to gravitate towards those places you’ve already tried and like there. Those that offer you a terrific experience, that resonate, that you remember. @townhearthdallas is EXACTLY that kind of place. I could talk about the cool vibe, the beautiful people, the amazing food and unique fixtures/items/conversation pieces. Heck, I could talk about the Krug by the glass or the row of vehicles outside at the valet that would make an exotic car dealer blush. But Town Hearth somehow is an amazing and unique mixture of all of those things. I think that few restaurants I care about are such a sum of their parts as this one. The card is tightly focused and has some really unique preparations, but this is Texas and so I went for beef. Specifically a bone in veal chop served au poivre, and perfectly grilled (w/ a Ketel One Martini back 🍸) Sides are delicious and range from various preps of potatoes to your normal steakhouse veg and a really killer caico e Pepe bucatini…. But it’s more than great food. The service is simply phenomenal and almost worth going there for in its own. The room is simply stunning, and the soundtrack is curated for someone like me that loves their fancy meals with a side of The Smiths or Duran Duran 🎵 This place is simply a scene and I say this with a bit of disbelief - because I’m really the last person that would go to a restaurant just to be part of a scene. But at Town Hearth, It works. And it works very, very well. So the next time you’re in big D, mosey on down to Town Hearth. Y’all will be glad you did 💯

Atmosphere is amazing but the quality of the food is not up to par with the energy of the restaurant. The steak had lots of gristle and the pork chop was dry and tasteless. I would love if the food matched the energy of the place.
