   The atmosphere is lovely, but the tables for two are very close together and backed up to a large party table. I was knocked into by patrons and waiters multiple times. That being said, the service was impeccable and the food was delicious with good portion sizes. For the quality of the restaurant, which is high (as is the price),I would have liked a little breathing room and not being jostled the whole time.

   It was nice. And that’s really all I can say. Was not entirely thrilled with flavor and for what they charge, you’d expect some serious innovation and creativity. We had a few things, a few of our waiters favorites, mostly seafood (apparently what they are known for) and so I was expecting more from our selections. Leaving little curiosity for the rest of the menu. It was good quality food but nothing was amazing, pretty standard. Desert and coffee was the best part. The ambiance, view and decor are beautiful but I don’t see any reason to return.

   What a fun place! Great atmosphere, excellent food and service. Mixed customers from young tables celebrating birthdays to couples and older adults enjoying a regular night out. Fantastic location with parking. Can’t wait to go in the summer dining out overlooking the Hudson.

   We enjoyed our meal very much. Our suggestion is to install heat in the restrooms. It was extremely cold.

    NYE at Trata was a disappointment. For starters, we were told on calling in advance it was “formal attire” and men should wear suit/tie, and no one else was wearing! We were incredibly rushed from the second we sat down with waiter repeatedly telling us we only had 90 min seating and to quickly order, before we barely had time to say hi to friends, hadn’t yet gotten drinks, and waiter hovering throughout meal to be sure we were moving along. How can one be expected to have an enjoyable 3 course meal with drinks in 90 min?! Granted it was a busy night on NYE but the entire experience felt frantically rushed when we were hoping to catch up with out of town friends. Food was good but the unfortunate rushed experience cost $500.
