   Currently our favorite place. The food is incredible!!!it’s very cute inside and out. The only downside is it’s small and the tables are very close together. It can get loud between the music and talking.

   The weather for our 5:15 reservation was perfect so we decided to take an outside table . Even though it was rush hour the scene on 22nd street was very pleasant, no honking horns or heavy traffic fumes. Our server,Nora, was very relaxed and welcomed us as first time diners at Trattoria Karina. She explained the Trattorias approach to dining and took our drink orders. All four of us enjoyed our menu choices immensely . We told Nora how pleased we were to have dined at Trattoria on this beautiful May evening.

   Food took over an hour to arrive. Drinks were forgotten. Food was good but it’s had to enjoy when you see other people being served while you wait forever

   Meal was delicious and service was great. Management was very accommodating to make our Mothers Day brunch rememberable.

   Trattoria Carina is Philly's hidden gem (although we selfishly wish it was more hidden, tables are often hard to come by!) Everything is perfect in this jewel box of a casual yet elegant neighborhood Italian spot - the ambiance, the curated menu, the waitstaff, and the kitchen's execution. A really wonderful spot in a great food city.

   Excellent Italian food in a cozy setting not too close and not too far from downtown, high quality fresh ingredients, excellent friendly service. Will definitely go back!

   Pros- byob, huge portions, quaint atmosphere Cons- I’ve been here twice and have had less than average service. The food tastes wonderful, but, in my experience, has also come out cold both times
