   We went on New Year's Eve. I made a reservation through Open Table for a party of 4. A few days later I called the restaurant to modify the reservation for a party of 6. In both cases, I was not informed of a pre-fixed menu and the price, which was steep. Nor did they inform me that the noise level in the restaurant would be that of a night club. The overall experience was fun, but too many surprises, cost, sound levels, etc.

   The pre fixe menu is always good. The portions were large for a prefixed menu, the Sea Bass was cooked to perfection and the steak and lobster were also. The staff is very pleasant and on top of taking care of you.

   We had a fantastic New Year's Eve dinner at Trio. The food, service, and cocktails were excellent. My one complaint about the place is the rather tired decor; every table I've ever been seated at here has been badly chipped and in need of repair/replacement.

   We had a great time. The food, atmosphere and drinks were great. Joshua, our server was outstanding. Glad we made reservations for happy hour.

   Excellent dinner with friends. Delicious stuffed dates, tuna tower, steaks, pasta and ribs.

   We hadn't been to Trio in years because of the poor food, ambiance and service but heard from a few friends that they redid it and hired a new chef. We each ordered an appetizer and an entree. The appetizers were good but my steak was all fat and not sliced the way steak frites usually is. I literally could not eat more than two bites. The scallops were great however. Once I told our server about my steak his service and demeanor completely changed and he gave us attitude the rest of the night. Eventually the manager came and asked if he could remake my steak. He seemed very genuine but at that point we were done, especially after the attitude we received from our server. Also, knocking down a wall does not constitute a remodel. The carpet was old and filthy and looked like a tired old Vegas casino. Needless to say we won't be going back to Trio. Palm Springs has so many fantastic dining options you could walk a block or two in any direction from Trio and have a better dining experience.

   Our waiter was great in offering what was a good choice to eat and where to go out at night. Very pleasant experience

   Delicious diver scallops and short ribs. Cocktails were generous, service exceptional. A very nice dinner.

    Love this place! Service was great by Dominic. We started off with the BEET tartar. It was the best appetizer we have ever eaten, I'm not joking it was amazing. I really hope they keep that on the menu forever. Finished off with the smash burger...excellent. Thanks for a great night.
