   We have been going to True Food and have loved it for a long time. The past two times we weren’t super pleased. I want to love you guys because what you stand for. The gf hamburger rolls were hard as a rock. The veggies on the kids meal looked a little brown, the pizza looked rushed , and the meal itself took a very long time. I got the chicken parm and it was delicious. Our waitress was super sweet, we generally always have great service with the exception of the food taking a long time. I’m honestly only writing this because I want True Food to do well because we need restaurants like you out there. Thank you

   It took over an hour for our food to come. When we asked the waiter the status of our order, he said “oh I will go check on it,” as if he totally forgot we ordered food. We finally got our food and our pizza was so cold the cheese on it hardened and the soup was cold. We spoke with Rick the manager, and expressed our disappointment. He offered to get us a new pizza and soup. I said no to the pizza (didn’t want to wait), but my husband ordered the soup, with Rick assuring us it would be hot. Rick also indicated they had several complaints that day about the temperature of the soup. When we got the soup the second time, it was cold, actually cold. With regard to the bill, Rick acted as if he was doing us a favor by taking things off the bill, like the cold pizza that we didn’t eat and the cold soup that we didn’t eat. He also took off an additional 10% (approx. $8). He did apologize for the issues. We then asked for two to-go containers from Rick, and he said he would be right back with them. He left and came back to clear the table, without the containers and when we mentioned them, he advised he forgot about them and would go get them. We waited ten minutes and decided to ask another manager (Rory), he brought the containers. He was going to get us a bag, after waiting five minutes we decided to leave. Also during our visit, we asked ot have the outdoor heater turned on, as we were sitting in the patio area. Someone came out and turned it on in a totally different area, and I heard the manager asking if they requested the heater to be turned on. The customer replied no, but they would like it if they would turn it on. They never checked to see who actually requested the heater be turned on. I could go on and on. I honestly don’t know if I have ever experienced such poor service. It appeared as though there were other tables near me complaining as well. Very disappointing.

   I’ve never ever had a bad meal here until this visit. I ordered the turkey burger with gluten free bun which was so hard I could not even cut into it let alone bite into it. I later learned they changed vendors and are working on it. The waitress did give us our dessert on the house which was delicious as always (cookies and dairy free ice cream) I thank you for great service. I will be back next month but won’t get the turkey burger until the bun issue is fixed. Thanks for bringing back the sweet potato hash that was delicious, please also bring back the vegan Carmel sauce. Thx much Desi

   My First time visiting KOP. Loved the area. My date is Vegan and GF and was introducing me to the lifestyle. The restaurant was beautiful…loved the decor and lighting. The staff, while pleasant seemed a bit out of sorts with reservations and seating. Our waitress was also a bit forgetful and didn’t seem to really know the full menu. The music was nice but loud. My poor date was shouting at me from across the table. The food was okay for me.I took most of it home. My date ate all of his but wasn’t impressed. We ordered dessert but it was very cold took 2 bites and left the rest. While a nice place, I don’t think I’ll be returning! Never get a 2nd chance to make a first impression! Again, the restaurant was nice and I like the drinks and variety of food but it wasn’t a good fit for US that night!

   Open and airy dining area, but just too loud. Nothing done to damping the echoing, noisy, ceiling and walls. The food was good. I would not say exceptional, but good. The service was very speedy, accurate and friendly, however, our waitress must’ve stopped at our table 9 times to ask us if we were OK. There is a balance between ignoring your customer and driving them crazy with interruptions. I’m not sure True Food Kitchen knows where that balance is .

    We had reservations for 6:30 and were seated on time. The waiter Jay was excellent. The overall wait was long due to the number of people dining (we were ok with it and informed Jay to not have kitchen rush the order and to ensure the meals were prepared and cooked well). The waiter and manager addressed the delay which we were appreciative of. Unfortunately, when the food was served (salmon was not well done as requested, and the special air fry chicken was hard and cold), we shared our dissatisfaction with the manager and requested that we would come back at a later time for dinner. We left very unsatisfied and have never experienced this type of service at True Food - a restaurant we dine at frequently.
