   Not sure how they manage the waiters at the restaurant, but we waited 10 minutes to be greeted by our waiter when the restaurant was maybe 30% occupied. There were other waiters standing around. They space the diners at long distances from each other and the waiters. The waiters don’t seem to serve adjacent tables, but have them spread out far and wide. The tables closest to us all had different waiters than we did.

   We have really enjoyed this restaurant over the years. Tonight was unfortunately very slow service. We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for our dinner and we had 2 young ones with us. My husband’s dinner arrived cold. It wasn’t what we have enjoyed in the past.

   Service was great, but my husband's lasagna was not warm. My salad was tasteless, the dressing, supposed to be Caesar, had no taste. The 3 tables around us also sent back one entree.

   We had not been to True Food in a while and noticed the menu was quite different. I usually order the Turkey Burger and it was still available. It was so much better than before. My wife had the plant based double cheeseburger. She said it was “hands down “ the best veggie burger she ever had. We will not wait such a long time again to vist this wonderful restaurant. Highly recommend True Food Kitchen for healthy dining options.

   The Ancient Grains Bowl,V is excellent, it’s the kind of food that crosses almost all boundaries from vegetarians to meat lovers. You can add the pistachio sauce or just eat it like it is …it’s a middle ground delicious option. I know very good my favorite. also, the air fry chicken is very good.

   First, the food was delicious. We shared a humus appetizer. A bit garlicky but heck it’s humus. I had the lasagna al pesto and my wife had a pesto pasta. My lasagna was OUTSTANDING! My wife enjoyed her pasta dish because to quote her: the pesto was subtle and not overwhelming. Two glasses of Malbec finished a nice dinner. I used my In-Kind app to pay.

   The Korean noodle bowl was delicious. I highly recommend the charred cauliflower appetizer! Great food, great place! Loved the pomegranate spritzer! Will definitely be back!
