   This restaurant offers the most delicious and healthy meals cooked to perfection. A vast variety of choices on the menu feeds all members of your family. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the GM, he was so personal he made me feel like family!

   We go here annually for our anniversary. This year, it was very disappointing. The drinks and appetizers were good. My entree came lukewarm at best. The waiter had a new one made for me. The second one also came out lukewarm. The waiter spoke to the manager and that entree was comped. The waiter seemed uninterested in any providing attentive service besides theventree situation. He would quickly bring items to our table and rush off. We had to flag him down to order, to get condiments, and even pay our bill! He would pass by to ask how everything was, but would not wait for our answer! The restaurant floor was messy with napkins and cutlery. It was really sad to see how much this restaurant has changed and gone downhill.

   The blueberry Pancakes USED to be a dream....thick, airy buckwheat pancakes, with a a generous amount of blueberry compote on top and a dollop of greek yogurt. A generous small pitcher of pure maple syrup on the side. Presentation was mouth watering. Today I got 2 skinny gluten free (type of grain-unknown) pancakes with the blueberries mixed in the batter, 1/3 covered in greek yogurt and 2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup in a small plastic container. Absolutely ZERO presentation. Just take it off the menu if this is what you are going to serve.

   Our waiter was non-existent. We sat down at our reservation time, but did not get our appetizer for over 30 minutes, and when it arrived, it was ice cold. The manager apologized and ordered a pizza as a replacement. We got our main courses at 8:00 pm (an hour after we sat down), and my husband's meatloaf was burnt on both sides, and the sweet potatoes were cold. My steak bowl was lukewarm but edible and tasty, and the pizza was also served hot and was delicious. The manager took off the unacceptable food items and apologized many times over. She was very nice and did the right thing.

   We had lunch at 1:15pm on a Saturday, which coincided with what felt like children’s happy hour. The atmosphere and noise level leaned more toward Rainforest Cafe than what we’ve previously experienced at True Food. The food and service were the high notes. Can’t go wrong with Ancient Grains Bowl. If the child seated next to us hadn’t been climbing on the table, I might have wanted to linger longer. But I couldn’t wait to leave. Not a great experience.

   We have dined here many times. This was the worst visit that we have had. It took forever to get waited on. Our food was overcooked. The service was poor. The manager was great.

   The food quality is always amazing. Service can be spotty because they’re always understaffed. The team is lively though, they just need more help as I’m sure the servers will burn out. I calculated the tip situation though and I think they do well in that regard so there’s something. Salad portions are small.

    I love True Food because I never have to question the ingredients. Unfortunately, my salmon was dry and not the quality of food I am used to from TF. It tasted like it was maybe previously frozen. Our server was very busy, but he was kind and attentive.
