   We eat rather frequently at True Food, but we had the extra pleasure yesterday of introducing an out-of-town friend to the restaurant. My wife relishes the plant-based “cheeseburger” and recommended it; our guest tried and enjoyed it. I myself had the ancient grains bowl, which packs many different flavors into a relatively low-calorie meal. The outdoor ambience was delightful, the service friendly and efficient. True Food Kitchen is decidedly our go-to in Tucson.

   Yes, the food is healthy and very good, however for the $$$ there is better in Tucson IMO. Glad we were on the patio, indoor seating was super loud, and even the music on the patio was just a bit too much. Most will love this place, I personally am a bird with different feathers, and will fly somewhere else for my next meal out.

   Our server Taif made our Easter Brunch so enjoyable. He was very attentive and personable. He explained everything on the menu and allowed substitutions. We shared the Brunch deal for 2. It was so filling and delicious. We had the Ranchers Hash and the Avocado toast. We will definitely return.

   We had a very good meal, however when we went to say we had a reservation, it did not show up on their system. I showed them my notices from Open Table. Thankfully, they had a table. But, it was outside which we didn’t want but graciously accepted.

   Easter brunch special for $39 was a great idea! Food and service were excellent as always, although the kitchen was a bit slow on the last two visits.

   A friend and I went there today for an Easter Brunch . It came with one appetizer to share. We ordered the avocado toast that came with a salad. It was delicious. Our entrees were a farmer’s market scramble and a tofu scramble. We also ordered the squash soup and a side of cheesy mashed potatoes. We also had the choice of a fruit spritzer. All the items were very enjoyable.

   I have eaten at your restaurant several times. The first two times were very good. The third and fourth only fair because the service was slow, my meat in the salad cooked poorly and of poor quality and twice you were out of pinot grigio and did not offer a complementary substitute. Today (my fifth time) we sat outide and it was beautiful. However, the service was very slow and it was not busy. We waited a long time for our food and a long time for our check. I am writing this as a private note because I have no desire to harm business but I do hope you take my comments seriously. Thank you.

   menu is exposed to too much soy, with that being said, decent clean alternative for eating, we have been many times, flourless chocolate cake is one of the best, hopefully they will limit the soy throughout the menu

   I love the fact that everything here is so healthy. I have had three different meals and they were all delicious and very digestible. Great flavor and interesting food combinations. Not cheap food but the value for your dollar is exceptional. I avoid seed oils and they make it easy here. It’s our new favorite place to eat.
