    Beautiful building, one of a kind in Calgary. Food was very good, service excellent. The server was very knowledgeable about the building and the story of the restaurant/distillery coming together. Take a walk around and check out the whole space, it’s an amazing spot. Lucky to have this in our city.

    This was the best dining I have had in a very long time! The service was outstanding as was every single menu item we ordered! My personal favourites were the tartar and the trout! The fennel salad was also so great, it would be a misstep not to mention! Our server was attentive and knowledgeable! Can’t wait to go back!

    Loved it! Wish we were seated on the main level as I preferred the ambience. So maybe request it if it matters to you.

    What an experience! We wanted to celebrate a family event at a restaurant we hadn’t been to and True Wild was such a great place to do that! The food was carefully done and even our teens appreciated the flavours. The malted barley sourdough with ham and cheese was a wonderful surprise. We all enjoyed the sourdough so much we purchased one to take home. The cheeseburger was a hit and the teens commented it was juicy and had great flavour. Nothing was overpowering but left us wanting more. Our server guided us through the process well. The dessert was a surprise. Nothing was too sweet and each flavour profile was a lot of fun to explore. Finally the building and space was incredible. We spent time exploring at the urging of our server. Truly unique and a bit if gentleman’s club feel in all the masculine elements. We will be back.

    very nice ambience and food was great would recommend The True Wild Distillery also waiting for their gin to be bottled ! we love the whiskey and vinca they provide

    From the greeting to the menu description to the cocktails and the ambiance, it was amazing. Expected the food to be good, did not expect to be blown away at the imaginative flavors and the sharing plate portions - it was delightful. 5 star dining in a surprising location.
