   The ambience was incredible. Perfect for special occasions. Made my birthday dinner feel intimate with my family. Food was great. Impeccable service from the restaurant staff.

   I have been a long time customer. We love the place for events. The food last night was quite poor. Cold sides and undercooked seafood. The presentation was also lacking. A far cry from a 300 dollar value. Server was good. Sad.

   This was my adult son‘s first time to a Truluck’s, and it was not what our family expected. I’m not sure if our waiter was new or just didn’t care. He never mentioned if there were any specials, I later heard someone else telling their table they were specials. We ordered crab claws, a soup, a Caesar to share and each had an entrée. So it’s not like we were being cheap. After the crab claws and the soup arrived I asked for a glass of ice. That never came and it was a long time before anyone came back to us, and then they brought us our entrées.  I said with surprise to the person delivering the food oh, we never got our salad . He immediately took note and said he told the server and the manager. And continue to deliver our entrées, which were there and hot so we wanted to eat them. The manager never came over and the waiter basically just said sorry about the mixup with the salad. Never said what he was gonna do, never ask if we still wanted the salad, but by the time he came back to us and he even addressed it, we were 3/4 of the way through our entrées. Later he said something about did we want dessert and I said it’s my son’s birthday so he said he would bring that dessert and with the mix up in the salad he would bring us another dessert to go if we wanted. We did do the birthday dessert.  The food was really good. And I would’ve said something to the manager had he ever come by our table just to check on us in general …. this was a Sunday night. It wasn’t a busy time, but they didn’t seem to have it together. But again, the food was very good.

   Dear Barbe, This is definitely not an experience that is up to our standards. I want to extend an apology from our entire service team. I'm so glad the food was outstanding, but the disconnect with the order is unacceptable and will be addressed. We have already spoken to your server and will ensure we correct this.    We had an amazing time. The server was the best. Valentina enjoyed her birthday she said everything was perfect
