We never had an unsatisfactory experience in Truluck’s and the DC location wasn’t any different. It’s an amazing place and we enjoyed our dinner immensely.

I told them we were celebrating an achievement at my wife’s work, they made a very nice handwritten card, and everyone was very excited. The food was of course spectacular and the singer who was providing phenomenal background music throughout the restaurant was absolutely fantastic.

I LOVED LOVED THIS PLACE. AMBIANCE WAS IMPECCABLE, SERVICE PHENOMENAL, AND THE MANAGER ALSO CHECKED ON US. MY MAN LOVED HIS BDAY LUNCH! HE WAS GIVEN A FREE ALASKA DESSERT ON FIRE IT WAS SO NICE WE WILL BE BACK VERY SOON JUST BECAUSE.

The building alarm was going off for almost the entire dining experience. The manager came by after we already ordered and had begun our meal to explain the situation and he said we could leave and go to another restaurant if the alarm is a problem. I will take his advice and not come back to this restaurant.

The overall experience was great. I would recommend everyone to really go and experience that the service was great. The food was good. The ambience are gorgeous on the inside. The host was very polite so I would definitely go back.

Although the entrees were good, we sent the appetizer back for being lukewarm, and the sides were mediocre. The prices were not reflective of the quality.
