   Over the top wonderful on all levels: first an opportunity to congratulate Megan on becoming a partner of the Max group! What a wonderful addition; a kinder, more embracing and welcoming representative to Trumbull Kitchen! Not to mention smart and pretty! Saw Chef Chris and of course Johnny as our server — shrimp corn fritters were excellent and the new grain salad with chicken was excellent with just the right amount of dressing. Trumbull Kitchen never disappoints and this time was extra special!

   Trumbull Kitchen is my favorite restaurant in Hartford. Excellent service, delicious food, amazing staff and atmosphere.

   This is an extremely noisy restaurant as it is very popular. When we asked the waiter to turn the music down, which was just over our table, they complied, but it was still too loud for normal conversation.

   Great menu with a good range of options and the service was excellent. Seeing a show at the Bushnell so a bit rushed and our server was great and got us out in good time!

   The food was good, the prices reasonable, cocktails were great, the service was polite and attentive. The choice of “background” music was fine but very, very loud. We had to really raise our voices to hear each other. It’s a good restaurant to choose before a show but not a place for quiet dining.

   Overall it was a good experience. However, it took almost a full hour for our meal to come out, and we had a show to get to at the Bushnell. So, we were slightly pressed for time. We think the server was the only one there, which may have attributed to the slow service. I was also slightly annoyed that the dinner menu was the only option for a 2:30 reservation, no lunch menu was provided. Although it was an overall good experience, I don’t think I would choose to eat there again.

   We love Trumbull Kitchen. The food is very reliably good and we always feel welcomed. Miniya was a great server. All a very positive experience.

    Great food, and came out quickly, but staff ignored us at the host stand when we got there at 8:45 (kitchen closed at 9). We waited for at least five minutes before the bartender politely came over, apologized, and sat us. Waitress quickly greeted us and let us know kitchen closed in five minutes. Probably a great restaurant, but don’t go after 8:30.
