Owners Stefan and Victoria Trummer bring their extensive New York City restaurant experience and passion to small town Clifton to offer a unique dining experience.

Went to Trummers a while back for the first time, and it was great. I'm a James Bond fanatic, so was excited for the New Year's Eve 4 course experience. I was utterly disappointed. What could have been an amazing themed evening with music and great food turned out to be completely dull and underwhelming. The drinks were not great, the food was not good...asparagus very woody and cassoulet beans undercooked, and there was nothing special about the service. When we voiced concerns we didn't have anyone come to our table to follow up. We inquired why they weren't playing and James Bond music...waitress stated they played it earlier. If I've paid over $400 for a James Bond experience, I expect the same experience regardless of what time my tickets were for. I may go back, but highly unlikely due to inconsistencies in service and value and quality.

We went here for our anniversary dinner and it was an excellent experience. The food was great, our waitress was delightful, and the bar staff were very knowledgeable and super friendly.

From James at the bar and Taylor our server, the experience was superb. Historic setting, detailed process and service underwrites a great restaurant and the cuisine was elegant and exceptional. Thanks and Cheers. BTW, the drink TITANIC was superb and you don't need to re-arrange the deck chairs. :)

Trummers is always an exceptional experience! We have dined there several times and the food is always so good. The chef sources locally and the tastes are really great. I highly recommend this place for a great meal with lots of ambiance for a fun date night.

This was my third time at Trummer's. Each time has been a great overall experience. My husband, my son-in-law's mother, and I were all pleased with our meals. I love that the Austrian owner has weinerschnitzel and spaetzle on the menu as I love Austrian and German food and it can be difficult to find in this area. My son-in-law's mother and I really enjoyed the Titanic cocktail. My husband had the Austrian wine sampler, one of the wines he liked so much we actually purchased a bottle. Justin, our server, was phenomenal. He was so professional and yet fun. Between the 3 of us, we had a lot of questions about the food, particularly about the Kyoto carrots. When he couldn't answer my question about the spaetzle, he gladly asked the chef and relayed the information. Finally there is so much natural light that comes in through the full length windows in the dining room, one almost felt like one was eating al fresco. We can't wait to return.

The food and wine pairing is always a great experience - started with pork cheeks and yummy homemade focaccia bread followed by venison which was super delicious, Our server was very attentive and gave us just enough space to enjoy the ambience and delicious food. Everything was a treat

Many of the food items were good and our waitress was excellent, however, I ordered a simple over medium egg and it was hard and way over cooked . It was $22 , I believe ,for the Trummers breakfast and the potatoes were barley warm and a bit mushy . The Brie starter, my daughter’s breakfast sandwich, the house espresso martini and dessert were all great
