Owners Stefan and Victoria Trummer bring their extensive New York City restaurant experience and passion to small town Clifton to offer a unique dining experience.

Wow! Very nice place! I have to call it a local hidden gem because if I hadn’t learned about Trummer’s Restaurant via word-of-mouth, I may never have had the opportunity to experience such delicious food! Quaint location, romantic atmosphere, and outstanding service and attention to the small details sets this place apart from most. We celebrated our anniversary there and the entire experience capped off a very memorable day!

We like this place. Great staff and nice atmosphere. The food is pretty good but they also have a great wine collection. Shrimp and grits is phenomenal and likely the best thing we had last night. My wife’s salad was ok and my chicken was good.

Went to Trummers a while back for the first time, and it was great. I'm a James Bond fanatic, so was excited for the New Year's Eve 4 course experience. I was utterly disappointed. What could have been an amazing themed evening with music and great food turned out to be completely dull and underwhelming. The drinks were not great, the food was not good...asparagus very woody and cassoulet beans undercooked, and there was nothing special about the service. When we voiced concerns we didn't have anyone come to our table to follow up. We inquired why they weren't playing and James Bond music...waitress stated they played it earlier. If I've paid over $400 for a James Bond experience, I expect the same experience regardless of what time my tickets were for. I may go back, but highly unlikely due to inconsistencies in service and value and quality.

We went here for our anniversary dinner and it was an excellent experience. The food was great, our waitress was delightful, and the bar staff were very knowledgeable and super friendly.

The 007 James Bond event was held and was a nice experience. The secret menu was excellent and delicious. We sat in the main dining room for an early reservation. The venison was delicious and perfectly cooked. It was a 4 course menu. I hope Trummer’s does this again on New Year’s Eve.

From James at the bar and Taylor our server, the experience was superb. Historic setting, detailed process and service underwrites a great restaurant and the cuisine was elegant and exceptional. Thanks and Cheers. BTW, the drink TITANIC was superb and you don't need to re-arrange the deck chairs. :)
