Wir halten es küchenstilistisch mit Toulouse-Lautrec, den die neuerdings so populären zaghaft-subtilen Aromenspiele der leichten Gemüseküche niemals ins Auswärts getrieben hätten und servieren zu Filet-, Gourmet- und Edelstücken intensive Saucen, sind Freunde des "Buttertricks" und lassen geschmacksneutralere Beilagen, deren Existenzberechtigung sich höchstens aus dem Sättigungswunsch des geneigten Genießers ableiten ließe, konsequent zuhause (Eigenreflex im Bedarfsfall: noch zwei Gänge ordern und die nächste Buddel Wein entkorken!)

Das war die Vorstellungsrunde und nun wollen wir auf den Tellern halten, was wir im Einleitungstext versprechen! Einen schönen Abend für Euch und all jene, die Ihr am liebsten doppelt seht!

Das Essen war gut. Es gab spannende Kombinationen, die fast alle überzeugen konnten. Bei einem Gesamtpreis von 275 Euro für zwei hätte ich aber etwas mehr erwartet. Alles in allem war es aber ein entspannter Abend, der uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder!

Amazing food, well harmonized with different tasty wines, and very good service! All dishes ingridients and spices were described before serving! I do recommend !!!

A totally fabulous meal and experience - right from the moment we booked. I had read a review of the restaurant and wanted to come while we spent the weekend in Berlin. Before realising that I could book online, I emailed them (in English) to request a table. I had a lovely reply (in perfect English) and then another when I booked online, just checking that I had chosen the correct night. That level of attention to detail is impressive and shows that they care about their customers. From the moment we arrived we were greeted like friends. We had the large tasting menu (I think it was 10 courses) and matched wines. Each course was described beautifully and I honestly can't say that there was one that I didn't like. It was so obvious that all the staff took a huge amount of pride in the restaurant, which is tucked down a residential side street away from the main tourist centre. I think that they were surprised and really pleased when I told them about the review in the BBC Good Food Magazine. I hope lots of other Brits visit because of the excellent write-up. We will certainly be returning next time we visit Berlin.
