   The food was great. My daughters loved the salmon and I had chicken with greens and fried okra. I was surprised by how good the greens were. The server was practically absent and prolonged the stay. I won't berate him because everybody has tough days and lots of places are short staffed. But we saw enough to make it seem like management needs to reengage and motivate employees so that the service matches outstanding food.

   The appetizers were great (green tomatoes and Brussels sprouts). The chicken was also very good. The steak was not good. It was too tough, not cooked as requested, and just a miss. Other main complaint was the wait time. We got the appetizers at 6:65 and the main course at 7:48 (I have timestamps on the pictures I took).

   If I could give a 5+ star rating I would. We had such a great experience here. We made a reservation for my birthday brunch, and while we were there, almost everyone on staff wished me a happy birthday, a barista made me a dirty chai for my birthday, we got free desserts, and got $20 off of $40 through their loyalty program. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our experience was great, and I appreciate each and every one of them. The food was also beyond delicious. 6/5 stars in my opinion!!

   This was our first time at this restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The four of us had a smash burger, shrimp and grits, salmon, and smothered chicken. All were excellent. Appetizers were great, sides were very good, and the two small desserts we got were excellent. Only slight negatives were slow service and the restaurant was extremely noisy. We were there over an hour and a half for a pretty simple meal and it was hard to carry on a conversation at our table due to the high noise level.

    We tried the $55 couples meal. We were supposed to get an appetizer two entrées and a dessert. We ordered two drinks and they never came and we had to remind the waitress. She apologized and said the ticket was lost and had to ask again what we ordered. I tried to order the chicken because this place is supposed to be known for their chicken. But they were all out of chicken. They brought our entrées out and the stake was room temperature.  I think another guy brought it out because their weight just forgot about our food. And, we never did get our appetizer. Laughable. The food was below average. The waitress was nice but terrible at her job. How do you forget so much stuff? I even had to go to another table and get silverware because there wasn’t any on the table. All around a train wreck.
