Third time here. I want to love this place but there is always something that is off. This time we came back to try the fried chicken again. It still was dry and there was no flavoring in the skin. We were disappointed. For a chain, I don't know how they keep missing.

We went for Columbus Restaurant week. They had only one server working so they sat everyone close together in one section of restaurant. Kitchen staff was having to help serve food and fill water because the poor server could not keep up. As a result the wait for food and water refills was longer than expected and the food was not hot coming out of kitchen. I was so disappointed. I have eaten there one other time, right after they opened, and it was a completely different experience. I am hoping this was just a “bad night” for them. I am hesitant to recommend them based on our experience.

Birthday outing and trying 614 Restaurant Week. Yep, we will be back. Arrived in time for Happy Hour and was well worth it. Could have made a meal out if the appetizers: Brussels Sprouts, Famous Fried Green Tomatoes and Fried Pickles. Plus, variety of drinks to choose from during happy hour. But was really looking forward to the flavorful food. Soup to start, unique pumpkin bisque was very good. Shrimp & Grits and Surf & Turf did not disappoint. Had some kick to it, but in a good way, very good. Saved some of the amazing meal for tomorrow in order to leave room for dessert: Banana Pudding and Mississippi Mud Pie. Just like dinner we shared to get a taste of both. Overall, great food, good service and good atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

We came for Restaurant Week. We had the pumpkin soup (which was good, but came out barely luke warm), Caesar salad, biscuits with blueberry jam (but no butter??), blackened mahi mahi with macaroni & cheese, Brussels, and rosemary potatoes. For dessert we had the mud pie and banana pudding. Overall, the food was pretty good, and we would consider going back. The service was a bit of a disappointment, especially considering how there were only 5 other tables in the entire restaurant the time we were there. It took several minutes for us to be acknowledged when we first walked in and stood at the hostess desk, and then nearly 10 minutes after sitting down for our waitress to acknowledge us. In fact, our waitress casually walked by our table multiple times without saying a word to us as she continued putting silverware on the empty tables around us. Why would you prioritize empty tables over actual customers? To be quite honest, the service did not get much better throughout the entire experience as our waitress failed to anticipate our needs or engage with us.

It was freezing in the restaurant when we walked in. The bar was obviously overwhelmed. It was a Friday night of an OSU basketball game. We watched many people sit down at the bar and get ignored and they left. We had reservations at a high top in the bar. Our waitress was friendly but forgot about us for a long time. The fried green tomatoes were excellent but the shrimp and grits were thick and dry. I’ve heard good things about this place so hopefully it was just an off night or just short staffed ?

Great service and the food was outstanding. A great brunch spot with some really interesting mimosa options. The apple cider mimosa was fabulous. Chicken and waffles were good and the shrimp and grits phenomenal.

Absolutely love this place! My wife an I have been three times when it was just us and then twice with our two daughters. Service is great every time, and the food...even better! We have tried various items on the menu each time and have not been disappointed. However, someone always manages to get the fried chicken because you just have to...we also ALWAYS get the fried green tomatoes appetizer because it is so very good! We also appreciate how the menu expands with new items very time we have been, but you can still find your fav on there. They have at least four versions of Chicken and waffles and they all are great, but beware of the kick on the spicy siracha C & Ws...it is so delicious, but is not for the faint of heart (or those with delicate tastebuds) very spicy, but still sweet and savory...Going back soon and will also purchase gift cards because my friends need to experience this place!
