   This was our first visit to Tupelo Honey in downtown Asheville, and it did not disappoint. We were familiar with their menu from the restaurants in Raleigh & in Greenville, SC, and took them up on their Valentine’s Special for Two. We chose Fried Green Onions for our appetizer, which was among the best we’ve ever had. We chose Surf & Turf and Shrimp & Grits for our entrees, respectively, both of which were delicious and had generous portions. To top it off, we chose banana pudding for dessert, which we took home and enjoyed later, as we were quite full. Overall, a delicious meal in a fun atmosphere and for a reasonable price. We’ll be back!

   Valentines Day, so crowded and noisy. Server was pleasant, just rushed. But we got everything as ordered in a timely manner, and requests for finishing touches were quickly met. Food was far better than expected, everyone was happy with their meal. There was a Valentine Day special, which made the value even better. A far better experience than expected.

   We were all happy to be back in Asheville for brunch at Tupelo Honey. It’s our favorite spot, we always make sure to stop here while in town!!

    We went here for a bachelorette trip and it was wonderful. We got an appetizer of the biscuits and it came with the honey butter and the jelly and then we all got something different all very!
