   Very disappointed. The server was very personable and did a good job. The food was below average. My chicken and my wife’s veal dishes were overcooked and dry. Couldn’t finish it and didn’t bring it home

   Very much enjoyed our experience at Tuscany Nokomis. It was our first time here. The appetizer tuna tartare was a fabulous presentation and very tasty! I had the Greek salad with salmon which was absolutely perfect! My friend got the 4 oz. Filet, also very good she said. The service was wonderful! We will definitely return. : )

   We often go to dinner on Sunday night with our friends who are 93 and 90. That is the reason we make reservations as we cannot sit at high tops or at the bar as the 93 year old has trouble sitting on stool type chairs. Our reservation was for 6:00 pm Sun. we arrived 10 minutes early. I checked in with a very frazzled hostess who said we were early and it would be a few minutes as tables needed to be cleared and tables reset. After waiting 20 minutes one of our senior friends went back to the receptionist and asked for an update. The frazzled hostess now had become curt and combative so we all decided to give it until 6:30 and if we were not seated we would leave. Our friend asked to speak to the manager and was told she couldn’t as the manager was busing tables. A little after 6:30 we went to return the pager and to leave. The manager was there and indicated they were very short staffed and behind. She offered to have us sit at the bar and we explained why we couldn’t. She said she would get us seated asap and pay for our first round of drinks. Five minutes later we were seated with our cocktails. Their red sangria is superb. The quality of the food was excellent but the pizza was not hot. I am sure they would have put it back on had our friends brought it to the attention of our server who was wonderful. She was courteous and very attentive. We spoke to some friends who went earlier (Friday) and had no trouble getting in without a reservation. She also shared that her that she had the Pasta Diablo and her husband had lasagna an I mention this in an effort to be fair to the restaurant who were having a trying day. Staff failure to show up for work put them in an unenviable position. We appreciate the manager’s help and the way she took charge of the situation. I recommend further training for the hostess. Had she set the expectation more clearly I’m sure there would have been more understanding. We will return after season is over.

   Arrived at 3:52 for our 4 PM reservation. It took over five minutes to get our table and the place was nearly empty. Hostess was not very nice. The booth seats very dirty and stained, an old bar towel on the floor and knife under the table not a very good first impression. Food was better than expected.

   Very enjoyable evening. Food was excellent as was service. Valet park is a nice touch. We all agreed we will be back soon.

   Came just before the end of early bird special time. Nice kids menu and expansive choices among traditional Italian dishes. Garlic bread was good and helped tide us over for the long wait for dinner. Service was good although server had way too many tables to handle well. Food was good and plentiful.

    To begin the hostess was snotty and rude to the other couple with us and when we arrived she was still very rude and we were walked way back in a corner for our table. Approx. 10 minutes later the waitress comes over and takes drink orders, 10 min later everyone had theirs, no drink for my wife, 15 min later the wrong drink comes to my wife, another 10 minutes and a reminder to waitress, she finally got her drink. Food came, our friends baked potato came cold, waitress takes it back and says be right back. At the end of our meal shows up with another baked potato that was hot, we are all done eating!!! Pizza was delicious as always, men enjoyed spaghetti and meat balls, steak was lukewarm but favorful. Will we go back? No. Very disappointed in service, waitress was over loaded with tables and very confused on who and what ordered what food if that makes sense~
