Twisted Tree Steakhouse offers a rustic, casual dining experience in our restaurant, bar, private dining space and patio areas. Our service techniques are unique, while serving your perfectly timed courses in an old-school casual experience.
Chef Tyler Layton and team serving premium aged steak options, perfectly crafted cocktails and a large variety of seafood, including our signature imported batter dipped lobster tail. If a reservation time that you are searching for is unavailable please call the restaurant directly to see about alternate seating options.
We also have our Lounge area available Tuesday - Saturday beginning at 4pm, seating is open and serving a lighter menu including our famous House Salad.
Twisted Tree Steakhouse is conveniently located in Sunset Hills, near highways 270 and 44. For those traveling we are connected to a recently updated Holiday Inn Sunset Hills Route 66.

    8:45 reservations became 9:15-ish. Witnessed several couples being sat that came in way after us. Brushed it off because drinks at the bar were very nice and relaxing. Shrimp cocktail was very good with a great spicy cocktail sauce. Salad was amazingly good with the dressings and croutons. I had the 16oz ribeye medium rare, my husband had the 20 oz ribeye Medium. Mine was cooked to perfection. His was only edible around the edges because it was very rare 1/4 of the way in. Way undercooked. Flavor was amazing, cut was fabulous, but the chef did not properly cook the larger cut. We will come back and try again, because the food is good. Hopefully the next time both steaks will be fabulous!

    Service is very good. Good is outstanding. Lobster bites are outrageously delicious. Caesar salad is excellent. Had a slice of the wedding cake for dessert and it was a dream. Light and not too heavy , served with a strawberry sauce and a scoop of ice cream. Decadent delight. Noise level was the only problem. A booth may be quieter than tables in the middle.

    This place has the best food I’ve ever had. From the espresso martini to the apps, salads, steak and dessert… nothing compares to Twisted Tree. Our server Alex was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better overall experience.

    Best lunch in St Louis…exceptional quality, selection, large portions, and reasonable price. Can’t beat it! Also like their Happy Hour and dinner.

    The food was not great. The Caesar salad was way too over dressed. The tuna tartare was underwhelming…The tuna was not seasoned enough and looked very pale. The toasts they give you with it, were way too hard and big. They cut up the roof of your mouth. The presentation of the tuna tartare was very poor. Lobster bisque did not have much lobster in it and it was a little too watery. Entrees, however, were good! Servers were very kind and attentive.

    Amazing Amazing Amazing! Everything was on point. The ambiance, the food, the service were all worth the reservation. We felt celebrated almost lol! The Twisted Tree is now in my top 2 for sure! I plan to be there alot this summer!
