   An experience at a restaurant starts from the minute you walk in the door. I have now been to uchi 3 separate times and have had the same extact experience where I walk to in to be unacknowledged nor greeted. Then the extremely disrespectful hostess that doesn’t even look up from her screen loves to say they have nothing available and not say how long or other solutions. Incredibly bad business. It was a Tuesday night where they were not busy at all, at least try to act like you care to accommodate customers who are excited to be there. The food was fine but when the dessert is the best part it’s not a great sign. Our server wasn’t the greatest either and said she would pace out our meal but as soon as we ordered everything hit our table at the same time. For what you are paying I would definitely not recommend. Very let down by my last few experiences here and they really need to do better. New staff in the front is definitely a good idea, a welcoming energy would be nice in a place that is supposed to be “home”.

   Cannot say enough good things about this place. I get excited just thinking about eating here. Food is great. Staff are phenomenal. Ambience sexy sexy sexy My go to restaurant in Scottsdale

   I went twice last week while visiting the area, because the first time was so amazing! The food, presentation, and service are all very impressive and all together make for a very unique and brilliant dining experience. The second time, I left a shopping bag with several items from different shops. There was a sentimental purchase in there. I live in Oklahoma and realized on my way back to OK. I called the next day, and, Tyler, a manager got back to me saying they had the bag and would ship it to me. This meant so much and just speaks to the amazing customer service. I asked who/where to send shipping money to, and he replied don't worry about it, they got it! Wow, couldn't recommend this restaurant more for so many reasons!

   We did the special tasting menu and every single dish was delicious and beautiful to look at. I very much enjoyed my meal and the drinks were perfect! I will definitely go again.

   We started off with a server who was either having a bad day or something… But after speaking to the manager, she took over for serving us and it was fabulous

   Horrifying experience. Server brought us the wrong bill which $475.00, not the $250 omakase price. Trying to to fix this took weeks. Countless emails and phone calls. Stay away from this place

    Amazing meal. Hands down the best sushi that I have ever eaten. Great experience from start to finish. We had our waitress Fran pick the meal offerings for us and wow did she do an incredible job. Be prepared to pay but it was so worth it!
