Uptown Sports Club has found its second life thanks to Aaron Franklin and a handful of friends united by their deep love for Austin. Same building. Same neighborhood. Same soul. Just thoughtfully reimagined for the East Austin of today.

    Countdown to Midnight with Uptown’s New Year’s Eve Menu, which will be offered from 5pm - 12am. For $120 a person, the meal includes choice of appetizer between Caviar Service (+70), Deviled Eggs, Tuna Crudo, ½ Dozen Oysters, and Pimento Cheese. Then, a choice of French Onion Soup, Caesar, or House Salad. For entrees, guests can choose between Grilled Red Fish on the half-shell, Roasted Chicken, Prime Filet Mignon, New York Strip, and Mushroom Stroganoff. For $40, they can also preorder one of the special family-style items, which include Aged Tomahawk Ribeye, Duck Confit, and Chateaubriand. Guests will also have a choice of two sides and dessert. Guests can add on a Beverage Pairing for $70 a person or a N/A Pairing for $50 per person

    Loved our visit and happy hour! We made plans for our next visit before we left. Everyone working there was super friendly with spot on service. The appetizers we tried were very good, especially the fried green tomatoes. We look forward to exploring more of the menu.

    We sat 45 minutes after our reservation and had to sit outside instead of inside. In all we were there for more than 2 and a half hours. We enjoyed the food but were disappointed with the service.

    Frankie’s Supper Club was fantastic. Great meal. Like a New York City steakhouse. Atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming! As nice an evening as I’ve had since moving to Austin.

    Went for a pop up event and boy was it fantastic. The menu items and service were both top drawer. Can't wait to go back again soon

    Great atmosphere, but the food was the star. Best wedge salad ever, the house-made ranch dressing was amazing. The ribeye was perfectly done and sliced. We finished with a slice of carrot cake that was delicious- moist and flavorful.

    Probably expected more, knowing the experience and success of the owners. Disappointed that for a weekend lunch, we ordered hamburgers but they did not have any buns left. The food was just OK, probably won’t be back soon. Service however was friendly and good.

    Hey Dennis, Sorry to hear about your experience with us. Unfortunately, our buns are made for us and our producer was unable to fulfill our order. It was a bit out of our hands but obviously more unfortunate for your guests. That being said I would love to invite you back to try the burger on us.     Food was great, the poboys should come with French fries for the price. The service was extremely slow and they were not busy at all. All of our food came out at different times so some of our party was completely done eating before others got their food. But everything was yummy

    Food was just ok. Ordered the shrimp po boy, fries, and a bowl of gumbo. Po boy was pretty bland and fries were greasy without being very crispy. Fun atmosphere but definitely loud on a Saturday night. Overall, it felt overpriced for what it is, so I probably won't be back.
