   Our favorite restaurant in North County. Basque Cake is tremendous. Seabass the same. Ham appetizer and pastas bravas are delightful. Ask to sit in Kimmie’s section. She’s great.

   We attended a Valentine's Day special meal where the only remaining reservation was at 9pm. That's a bit late for seniors, and later staff graciously moved us from 9 to 5pm. So thankful and it set the tone for the entire evening. Food was delicious. David, our waiter, was great. Courses came and departed as if choreographed. This dinner was only our second time at Valentina's. This time was a real step up and a most pleasurable experience.

   Came here for Valentine’s Day. Perfect choice and ambiance. Easily the best artichoke dish we’ve ever had. The steak and schnitzel were very delicious as well.

   This was our third time at Valentina. The food was super consistent from previous visits. The ambiance is great, and the staff is Great! The food comes out super quick. We visit NY often to visit family. The place reminds me of one of the great little gems in East Village. We have needed places like this in North County for years and are so happy they are here.

   This place is a gem. The ambience is cozy and inviting. The menu was the right size. Smaller, Focused and little something for everyone. A great date night or girls night spot. Felt intimate & romantic. And honestly, the prices are great.

   Service was extremely slow. The hostess told us while we were being seated that we absolutely needed to to be out in two hours. Would have wished to, but it took over an hour to get our dinner. Patrons were looking at each other and toward the open kitchen to see what the problem was. They also allowed patrons nearby to have a dog near their table. This is an upscale indoor restaurant. It was very expensive for the type of experience we had.

    The third experience has this place on our top 5 spots to dine with friends. Service is always personable and timely. Our server, David, is quite knowledgeable about the menus, gluten free options and wine offerings. He created a specialty cocktail of his own made with mezcal and green chartreuse. Delicious! Start with shrimp in garlic, and chile oil. Octopus is not to miss either! Thank you for another memorable evening with friends.
