    Banana Pancakes were awesome ...bit pricey.but who needs 3x scoops of icecream? Make it $8 cheaper and forget 2x scoops of icecream It was good...too big

    Brisket burger meat was cold. Chips weren’t much warmer. For a $33 meal I was expecting hot food. Normally don’t have a problem but today, sorry not impressed.

    I have been to Van Loons many times over the years and I must say this was my worst experience. Our food took over one hour to come - yes I know they were very busy however had our waitress kept an eye on us and come over to explain why the delay - it would not have seemed so bad. I acknowledge that the staff were busy though. But I was disappointed though as I was taking 2 friends there from Melbourne who had never been before - so it was disappointing to say the least

    Booking our table online was quick and easy. Our dining experience at Van Loons Cafe was excellent. We went for Sunday lunch and all three main dishes we ordered were so good - salt and pepper squid, Buddha bowl, and tostada stack. Such great service even at such a busy time of day. Highly recommend Van Loons Cafe.
