We are an authentic Italian wine café, proud to offer quality Sicilian wines and spuntini appetisers across the UK. In the spring of 2013 something extraordinary happened. Two Italian guys in their twenties met in Manchester to find out that they shared a unique passion; they both loved and missed, the Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. A daily occasion to share moments of happiness with friends and family. By the end of that very same year, Veeno was born: a place where everyone could enjoy great wines and the most authentic Spuntini – platters of meats, cheeses and other appetisers imported from strictly selected Italian producers. Our wines come from Caruso & Minini, our family vineyard back in Sicily where great-grandfather Antonio planted the first vines in the XIX century. Since then, we have been working hard to ensure that our quality and tradition could flow from the bottles to the glass in your hand.

Food was rather disappointing Starters were good but the pasta mains were very bland and lacked flavour Service was fantastic though Value for money was equivocal

The upstairs room was empty when we arrived but another party gathered and seemed to be having the tasting experience. My Dad and I were there just to have lunch and enjoyed the food very much. It has an authentic Italian taste. the staff knew their wines very well and even the house red was delicious. I will be visiting again!

Food and atmosphere was good but booking through this app is not good never made my booking , lucky for us manger on site was kind enough to find us table on arrival I will not be booking anything on this app again. NOT Reliable.

Arrived but no table reserved, tried to get us to eat at a bar. Table, then sitting on a settee. Left before ordering, but went to Middletown’s Steak House opposite, good value, nice table and excellent staff.
