Velvet is a hyperseasonal cocktail bar (no food) in Berlin Neukölln. It’s weekly changing cocktail menu reflects the flavours available from Berlin’s surrounding at the time of the year and has earned the bar the title "Bar of the Year Germany" twice by Mixology Magazine & No.77 in the World's 50 Best Bars Top 100 in 2023. After harvest on their regular foraging trips in and around Berlin, the team turns seasonal plants into liquids on the weekly Lab Day. The bar focusses on light spirits aswell as sake, madeira, sherry or dry vermouths, to leave space for the natural plant flavours to shine.

Experience Velvet's Tasting Menu - 10 microseasonal drinks served as sips to savour the aromas of plants foraged and farmed around Berlin. The drinks curated by us from our weekly menu are served from beautiful vintage decanters and glassware. The tasting menu is served at the bar and one of our bartenders will take you through Velvet's philosophy and botany, while the evening slowly starts unfolding. Includes bread, butter and tap water. Always starts fixed 19:00 at the bar, duration 2,5 hours.

Wir haben das Velvet aufgrund seiner hervorragenden Cocktails besucht. Es war unser erster Besuch dort und wir waren wirklich begeistert vom Geschmack und den Aromen der Drinks. Preislich ist es in der Kategorie absolut angemessen und wenn man sich die Arbeit anschaut die an der Bar geleistet wird umso gerechtfertigter. Die Karte wechselt wöchentlich es gibt aber auch immer eine zweite Karte bei der auf Klassiker der vorherigen Wochen zurückgegriffen werden kann. Auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert!

Very nice bar and the drinks seem very natural! The staff is very friendly and you can ask also for excellent non-alcoholic cocktails.

A beautiful, cozy bar with stunning cocktails and an even better staff. They make you feel welcome right off the bat and go to lengths to make your experience stellar. They have a weekly menu with very well thought out drinks. Our server/mixologist was super engaging explaining us about the various concoctions and even let us try their seasonal infusions. Worth every penny spent! An absolute must visit if you are a cocktail enthusiast or a mixology aficionado!

Slightly disappointed. The drinks were delicious but service was a bit frosty, particularly when a couple of the party were looking for zero / low ABV options. Still a cool bar in a great area

Hab mein Geburtstag gefeiert - war top! Außer Bar Menü konnten die Barmen alle Klassikern mischen oder eine gute Alternative anbieten.
