    The food is just okay. There are too many small Mexican restaurants that far beat the flavor of the food and the prices are so much cheaper elsewhere. Great decor and atmosphere, but that won’t keep people coming back. The food needs to be above average for these prices.

    Very nice setting and ambiance! I have eaten at Verde before and selections were ideal. Additionally drinks have never let me down 😊 Unfortunately 😢 this time I was very disappointed. To start my family is from Mexico so I am familiar with traditional dishes. It was disappointing when my friend and I discovered the empanadas were not made from traditional corn maza - and were not fried. You can’t do that to a Mexican 🤣 Simply tasted odd. And then when we tried the one that was supposedly chicken tinga we found it to be extremely dry flavorless chicken!!! A Mexican knows what tinga looks and tastes like so we were disappointed that it was not even close to traditional tinga, which is not hard to make and from what I learned the chef is from Mexico. Again the restaurant has great options but please make sure all is truly what the menu indicates and what traditionally it should be. Hey the restaurant is named Flavors of Mexico and dishes are a tad priceier than your typical Mexican restaurant so expectations are higher.

    So excited to have a great restaurant come to Greenwood. The food was excellent, drinks well crafted and service was attentive!! Loved it!!

    The restaurant was beautiful and staff friendly, and everything ran very smoothly. The meats were tender in our entrées but all of the food that we had to eat from appetizers to dessert was missing seasoning. if we dine again, we would not order the same items.

    Service was OK. Staff was friendly, but not very responsive especially since the restaurant was not busy at all. Food was awesome! Ambiance is great. Should step it up on the service.

    Verde is one of the nicest restaurants in Greenwood. Their chicken enchiladas are the best I have ever had.

    Had a great dinner at the new Greenwood Verde. The interior ambiance was stunning. The staff was very inviting and our server was very attentive. One downside is we had a challenging time hearing each other talk but for sure will be back.

    The staff was wonderful. My waiter was extremely attentive but not bothersome. The food was fantastic! I'll definitely be heading back to try more of their food.
