Celebrate New Year’s Eve 2024 at Vessel NOLA, housed in an iconic 1914 church in mid-city 10 minutes from The French Quarter. Enjoy renowned Chef Willie Cooper's gourmet 5 course menu for $125/person. Champagne is available along with specialty craft cocktails and wine and beer. The menu can viewed at vesselnola.com/menu. Tax and gratuity not included. Vessel has been featured in multiple televisions shows and in many national magazines. Architectural Digest chose Vessel in its article: "8 of the Most Gorgeous Restaurants in Former Churches in the world". The food was significantly below the quality that one would expect for what the food costs. From when we ordered to when we got our food was 45 minutes. Our appetizer was forgotten and then brought out mid-meal.

This has to be the top 5 worst restaurant experiences of my lifetime, and I eat out about once a week. It is unfortunate because New Orleans is known for hospitality, food, fun, and good experiences. This restaurant has a per-person cancelation fee- when we got there one of the members of our party was stuck on a flight, delayed for 8 hours, and wasn't going to make it instead of being gracious, the hostess said next time, call us and make the change- excuse me I am more concerned with my family member being stuck in the air than calling the restaurant to make a change from 5 to 4 and by the way the size of the table didn't change. That was just the start; it got way worse. We waited an hour and a half for food, but every runner came with other tables' food to our table for an entire hour- a cheese plate, another started we didn't order, a crab cake- we saw at least 5 or 6 dishes we didn't order. That tells me the back of the house is not run well. We dine out a lot and have worked in the service industry. We checked on our food multiple times while two tables on the far end left and two on either side were on dessert. Another runner came and brought two orders of fries that he set down on two other tables. We didn't order fries- we ordered a salad and scallops, salmon, seafood pasta, and Gulf fish. A manager came out and said the chef sent the fries to hold us over. REALLY? What Chef would send french fries after an hour and a half to a table as a hold-over? I would be too embarrassed to send fries- it didn't even go with our meals. If we wanted to pay $460 ( total bill) for french fries, I would at least hope they would taste better. This place is a disaster. The food is overly salty, and the service is terrible. Their target is me. People with disposable income have lots of company, travel frequently, and are willing to pay 40-50 dollars a plate on a normal night. This is not a special occasion place. As someone who loves the city. SKIP IT.

The ambience was amazing! Loved the names of your drinks. Service was great. Good came out quickly and was amazing!! Cheesecake was huge and so creamy!! A great Christmas Eve for us!! Thanks!

The food was outstanding. The service was EXTREMELY SLOW considering the few tables they have. We made a reservation well in advance for them to heat the outside space and still didn’t turn heaters on until we arrived. I called well in advance to make sure the space was heated. Prices seemed high for the smaller portions. Took almost 2 hours to get our food.

My friend and I booked a table at Vessel this evening and found our experience to have met our high expectations. Our reservation was set for 6:30 and we were seated at 6:30. Our waiter greeted us with a very pleasant demeanor and provided us with excellent recommendations. We both ordered the Salmon with Brussel Sprouts and our dishes arrived in a timely fashion. The fish was prepared to perfection and the brussel sprouts were seasoned impeccably. Our entire experience did not disappoint and we will be recommending this beautiful restaurant to family and friends.

Excellent meal at Vessel. Everything was delicious and so fresh. Drinks were outstanding and the service top notch. The ambiance is second to none and should not be missed by anyone. Vessell is truly the jewel of New Orleans!

I really wanted this dinner to be incredible and was looking forward to eating here. Unfortunately, the amount of salt that on the salmon entree and the asparagus was astounding and we couldn’t eat it. Our server was attentive and even noticed he could “see the salt” on the asparagus. It was enough that I had to spit it out into my napkin. The server said he would make the kitchen aware of the issue. The fish dip and the crab au gratin apps were okay, not good enough to bring me back.

What a gem! The building is stunning! What a fantastic space! The food was outstanding. We had a large group and everything we had was great! If I lived in the area I would eat here all the time! Highly recommend!
