   The food and service couldn’t be improved. Accessing the restaurant as a disabled person was difficult. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but it would have helped to either have a level access, or if that wasn’t possible to have had handrails beside the steps would have made it much easier.

   Pretty much pitch perfect. Great space. Service succinct. Excellent wine list. Fabulous food only lament is as ever in restaurants the veg element is compromised but the presentation of the dishes was artful as well as delicious. And a cheese trolley at last! Frozen glasses for dry martini making which was composed exactly as it should be which happens so rarely..........

   Friendly staff, one of the best dining rooms anywhere and incredible food. This is top-notch fine dining. There's some incredible British product used in dishes with a strong mediterranean approach and some touches of Asia. It's the ability to surprise that's so wonderful here. Go while you can. When this place gets the Michelin recognition it deserves, the prices will go up and availability will evaporate!

   Went on a Wednesday lunch and the restaurant was very quiet, but that was not a problem for us. We had the Menu Gourmandise which although quite expensive is amazing value. Canapes and courses just kept arriving. They were all thoughtfully conceived and perfectly executed. An amazing array of unusual flavours and textures. The amount of mental and physical effort that went into making this meal was extraordinary. This was undoubtedly the best meal I have had for many years and I will endeavour to return. The wine list offers a reasonable range of wines from affordable to not quite so, but I felt missed some obvious potential wines of note. I encourage you to go.

   Food is good but felt more like a school dinner as the kitchen closed at sharp 9pm on a Saturday and the atmosphere was nonexistent. We were a big table of x8 and were forced into ordering which should not be expected especially at this price point. Can not see myself returning unless changes were made.

   Superb meal overall! Staff were lovely and the meal was amazing, highlights were the red mullet and lobster dishes. The dining room is an amazing setting to eat in and the restaurant will go from strength to strength as you do feel it is still in the very early stages of a new opening and can only get better.    Excellent I have been to this restaurant in all its guises including when Marcus Warring owned it. This is the best. They are still “exploring” menu options I would have liked a little more choice and perhaps a set lunch menu but our food was exceptional. The crab starter is a show stopper. Good wine list something for every budget and a beautiful dinning room. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

    Intense flavours from the amuses bouches to the petits fours. This is skilful cooking which begins with a lot of prep work and ends with the extensive use of tweezers. Such work runs the risk of there being an element or even elements too many but here the flavours are intense and well-integrated. Service was smooth and pleasant. Our meal was lifted by the recommendation of two wines by the glass – a white rioja and a Turkish red – which would not have been our first choices but which proved to be not only interesting but excellent partners for our dishes. It was disappointing that the Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee featured on the dessert list was not available as it would have been an appropriate conclusion to the meal but the Flat White and Americano from the bar were well made. A special experience.
