   We used to enjoy the Victor so decided to stop by tonight for my birthday dinner as we were staying at the JW Marriott. The sever was MIA and after waiting a ridiculously long time, they brought my husband the wrong meal. We had to stop 3 staff members to ask for our server to come check on us so we could inform him. He had taken a few bites of the steak before we realized it was the wrong order. They offered to remake it and when it was taking awhile, we asked for it to be packed up as we needed to head up to our room to get ready. My husband went to eat it once we got upstairs and it turns out they didn’t even remake it, just added a few tempura shrimp to the box. Terrible service, which is incredibly disappointing because we’ve never experience anything like this on our past visits.

   It would have been a more enjoyable experience but one staff that bussed our table has lingering BO...meaning his stank stayed in the air around our area way after he left. It ruins the whole dining experience. Please educate staff on perosnal hygiene when at work. P

   Not worth it, sounds better than it is $65 becomes closer to $80-$90 after 1 soft drink and alcoholic beverage which was $18. So it’s not a $65 buffet go get yourself an omega, appetizer and drink at the Keg. The carver would not give me a king cut instead his definition of a king cut was clearly different. They pre slice cuts and force you to take them (why do you pre cut pieces when there wasn’t even a line up?) the meat gets cold. There’s 3 selection of sushi rolls, mashed potatoes, and Brussels sprouts, Caesar salad, cherry tomato salad, fruit slices. Meats are ham, prime rib, and sausage (which was dry). Trust me it’s very deceiving you think you’re paying $65 but that’s only if you don’t order drinks and this I knew already but the selection is super limited but in replacement of that I thought maybe it would be better quality but it’s no better than a piece of beef roast at other buffets, the rarest I could get was a medium cut. Don’t waste your time and money, to spend $100 per person after tipping for nice atmosphere and good service from the servers the value is horrible. Will never go back. Not recommended.

   Our meals were both just barely warm. I ate mine still but my wife sent hers back to be heated and when it was returned it was like it was never warmed up. For a restaurant of this ranking and price very disappointed in the food coming to the table not warm enough to eat and then return no better. Kudos to the manager on how she handle things.    My husband and I always go out for brunch on New Years Day. This year we were very excited to try Victor. If anyone knows how to do a busy brunch it’s the crew at Victor. The food stations were very well maintained. The selections were plentiful and the service was top notch. The restaurant was beautifully appointed, the food was well laid out, we had a wonderful time. Great start to 2025. We’ll be back next year.

   My wife and I couldn’t have been happier to ring in the new year with Tahara our waitress at the Victor. What an absolutely amazing experience, accompanied by Allan’s wonderful hospitality. We will be back!

    What a great experience. Our server Steven was on que and made sure frequently we were looked after. A definite repeat.
