   I truly wanted to love this place because of everything I had heard and read about. From the moment we got there, we were told we couldn’t be sat if the rest of the party wasn’t there, which I understand, however after we sat with our full party, we saw other tables being sat with just a few of their party members, so the inconsistency was present from the get go. Upon arrival we were greeted by our server, who set down two full bottles of tap water, but never poured it into our water glasses, so we had to pour it ourselves. We were asked for drinks right away. Drinks and app orders were taken, an extra app was dropped off without us ordering it, which our server apologized for. We were then asked if we were ready to order. Once orders were taken , not a single empty glass, dirty dish or anything needed to be cleared by a busser or server was ever removed. I had to ask a gentleman who was not our server to please clear all of our dirty app plates and silverware. Our dinner arrived in segments and the guest of honors dish was not the correct one. The server had to be flagged down and made aware of this issue. She apologized for the mistake and everyone had their food but the birthday girl. There was never a moment where we were asked if we wanted another drink nor our waters filled by a server. The food was great but everything else was lacking. For a restaurant who requests a deposit of $10 a person, to ensure accurate reservations are made on our end it seemed there was not much done on their part to assure their servers are properly trained in greeting guests, watering them , pre-bussing the table and ensuring order accuracy as well as proper table maintenance. 18% was automatically added to our check and that just seemed like another way to ensure the sever is being taken care of but at this point you have to ask yourself if the restaurant is doing anything to ensure guests satisfaction from the most basic of requests, water, clean table etc.

   Restaurant ambiance was very nice! They did a great job with decor. The food was fantastic as well! Our service was great. Pricing was on the high end.

   Vida Cocina is a must visit! A beautiful restaurant, wonderful ambience, excellent food and service. A very energetic vibe throughout. You won’t be disappointed!

   I come Here often so I was excited to host a girls night. A few of us ordered the frozen margs and they came melted. I sent it back and it came back the same way! For the price of it, I could have ordered a drink on the rocks. The food was great as always and the waiter compared to other times I’ve been was just average.

    Shannon and Blanca were great. The food and drinks were wonderful. The queso hit the spot. I wish the queso was a bit bigger. I would 100% recommend this place.
