   I know it was a lot noisier than usual cause of Valentine’s Day but the service was terrible! I normally have no complaints but last nite was terrible

   I was visiting from Texas. We had 7:15pm reservations, but it took over 20 minutes just to be acknowledged by the greeter. The restaurant was completely slammed and unprepared for the amount of reservations they had. We eventually ended up leaving after speaking to a party who were seated and had been waiting for 90 minutes and only had been served drinks. I love this restaurant but the lack of planning for Valentine’s week was extremely disappointing.

   Nice spot but incredibly loud. Like the DJ but you have to yell to be heard. If they could identify a more common level for the music where you can enjoy the tunes and also the conversation at your table that would be great. The food was good but the server was amazing. Very attentive, knowledgeable and kind.

   This was my first time here and everything from the service from our waiter Patrick to the food was stellar!!! The smother chicken wings, rice and collards were seasoned to perfection!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

   Great ambiance, very friendly and helpful staff, clean, beautifully decorated old fire station. Bartender and chefs are top notch. Food is amazing, so much so I purchased a 2nd meal to take home for later! It was a group of four so we tried different appetizers and shared (they are all shareable). The crab deviled eggs are mouth watering!! We did the same with the entrees, EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING was delicious and this is coming from a chef so I am big on flavor, pairings and presentation and they hit the mark on all 3!! Our waiter Jorge is the absolute BEST!!!!

   Hmmm…I’ve given this location several tries but they just can’t seem to get it together. For my 01/18/25 visit: I booked my reservation via Open Table. Outdoor seating was the only option left so I left a VM and sent a message asking more details I.e. is the patio enclosed, do they have heaters, etc.? No response. We decided to give it a try. The hostess was nice. She let me look and feel the balcony before seating us. We sat right in front of a propane heater but it still was a little chilly. We requested they turn on the others but they were either out of gas or didn’t work. They eventually got a second one to work and we were pretty comfortable from there. Our server Marlon was knowledgeable about the menu but was subpar. We ordered bottomless orange juice mimosas, sparkling water and a Coke. 15 min later we received flat water, Coke, the wrong juice for the mimosas. Several minutes later we received 6oz of orange juice. Good thing only one of us was planning to drink the mimosas! We ordered crabmeat deviled eggs, but it took numerous asks to get utensils, then plates, then napkins. The okra soup barely had okra, the salmon was overcooked (I requested medium) and it was smothered with a sauce. My corn was tasty but they were out of several other sides. I ordered a bourbon but unfortunately they were out of Woodford. I ordered a Merlot. It was decent. The server and another gentleman checked on us several times but there were very long periods in-between. One of the ladies went to the restroom and noticed our server having a good ole time inside smoking hookah. Well that explained the lulls… If you decide to give it a try, be sure to make reservations as this two story tight quartered establishment was packed! The female DJ was good. Parking is on the right side of the building. Could use more light but you do get 2 hours for free.

   My group had reservations for 8:30pm but we were not seated until after 10pm. For the inconvenience, the restaurant did offer us a few rounds of shots and hookah. That was appreciated but the service at this location continues to be an issue.

    The food and drinks are delicious. The ambience is really nice. The staff was friendly and consistent. The dj was a whole vibe. My only issue was that I placed a to go order and when I arrived home to open it, my order was wrong. I was so frustrated, but at the same time it was my fault for not checking my bag before leaving. I will definitely visit again.
