   My experience was absolutely amazing. I'm so happy that I decided to spend my birthday at this restaurant. The food was delicious and well prepared. The staff was wonderful and went over and beyond to make sure my visit was one to remember. The restaurant manager, head chef, and wait staff were very friendly and welcoming. They each came over to my table to welcome my party and to make sure everything was up to standard. I was highly impressed and will drive all the way from Michigan again to have this experience.

   One of my new favorite restaurants in the city. An inventive menu with twists on classic soul food, celebration of black culture, amazing food and vibe. I’ll be back soon, and I’m bringing friends!

The thoughtfully designed interior, adorned with art celebrating Black cultural figures, reflects the vibrant spirit of the community. The culinary experience at Virtue is nothing short of exceptional. Each dish is a testament to Chef Erick Williams’ dedication to honoring traditional Southern flavors while infusing them with contemporary flair. Personal favorites include the succulent short ribs, perfectly seasoned and tender, and the fried green tomatoes that offer a delightful crunch with every bite.     Virtue in Hyde Park offered a truly gratifying experience!The food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was perfectly prepared, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. Our server, Henry, was attentive and made excellent drink recommendations. The atmosphere was warm and energetic. I highly recommend this restaurant. I can't wait to go back to try their short ribs.
