We went on a rainy Wednesday evening Jan 22nd . The ambiance is very nice. The service was good. We ordered the melon with prosciutto and fig with burrata. The prosciutto was a bit fatty and kind of chewy but we worked around that and enjoyed it despite that. We ordered the lasagne and Orecchiette with sausage and rapini . The lasagne is a large serving the sauce was good and it was cheesy. The orecchiette was nice but a bit spicy. We have to say 5 o'clock at dinner isn't the time for staff to take social media photos they had a huge round 24" bright 6 foot light in our eyes that was facing our booth. It ruined our dinner experience. That was so irritating. The kids maybe 4 of them who were making the social media posts were so loud while taking the photos, super loud it was super irritating much less a round photo light right in our eyes we were in the booth right behind where the the kids were taking the photos, all of this was going on right in the Main Dining Room. . This was so inappropriate. They were laughing and carrying on as though there were no diners in the restaurant. This was not a great way to enjoy a bottle of wine and dinner. That has to change. The music started out as van Morrison then went to country music. Where does country music even come in at an Italian restaurant? I'd imagine The owners weren't there because when we asked why country music, to the waitstaff one answered and said the owners wouldn't like knowing this is what's playing. So something needs to change from the kids using a massive light in diners faces to how loud they were while taking the photos right in the main dining room, all the while ignoring the fact diners were trying to enjoy a good meal and wine. Much less playing loud very loud country music. Those things must be fixed by the owners we went Wednesday at 5 and that was unexpected. I'd have given a better rating if this behavior didn't seem normal but it seemed very normal to them.

We happen to go to Vivace a lot . We like to sit at the bar . Matt the bartender is super nice . (Remembers that we like the meatballs .) The last couple of times the food has been sub par . Not sure if they have a new chef . We like to share the 3 meatball appetizer. Usually they are fork tender and delicious. This last time I could not cut them with a fork and barely my knife . He sent them back for us and reordered and again , they were not edible . He took them off the bill . I usually order the chicken Milanese and the last couple of times , it’s been over fried . Hope they get it together . I’m rooting for them !

Review of Vivace Italian Restaurant For years, Vivace held a special place in my heart. I’ve dined there countless times, witnessing their journey from a cozy local gem to a bustling, expanded establishment. I’ve always rooted for them, taking pride in their growth and the joy they brought to so many. But after my last two visits, it’s with great disappointment that I say I’ll never return. When I first started going to Vivace, the owner’s personal touch elevated every experience. They would walk around during dinner service, ensuring every table was happy, every bite was perfect, and every guest felt like family. Sadly, those days are long gone. Visit 1: Cold Food, Empty Apologies During my penultimate visit, the issues began. We were served cold food, and the arancini, usually a highlight of the menu, arrived with cheese so solid and unmelted that it was inedible. The general manager apologized, blaming a “new cook who was still getting the hang of things,” and promised us free dessert on our next visit. While I appreciated the gesture, it felt like a band-aid on a much deeper problem. Visit 2: A Comedy of Errors Despite my previous disappointment, I decided to give Vivace one more chance. I now regret that decision. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a young Black woman who asked if we had a reservation. When I responded, “Not yet, but I can make one if needed,” she laughed and said it was “too late for a reservation.” As I looked around, I noticed one empty, cleaned booth and two dirty tables that hadn’t been cleared. Oddly enough, she told us those tables were being held for reservations. Curious, I opened the OpenTable app and, to my surprise, successfully made a reservation for 25 minutes later. When I mentioned this, she informed us we’d still need to wait for a table to open. After 15 minutes, we were finally seated—at a small, uncomfortable table—not the booth that remained empty the entire time. we will never return to this restaurant. 0/5 stars

The absolute best service, the best. Food is outstanding and the presentation enhances the experience. Ambience is out of this world. Chef Vito and the staff exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend Vivace, HIGHLY!!!!!

We had a delicious dinner. We started off with the Beet and Arugula salad. The bolognaise and chicken parmesan were exceptional. Paired with chianti for a fabulous Italian meal. We finished up with Gelato to the smooth Jazz sounds of the saxophone. Wonderful evening! Vivace combines the best of a neighborhood restaurant with luxury dining. Our host Tommy always goes above and beyond to make our evening special. Vivace remains at the top of our restaurant list.

This restaurant is fantastic. Great drinks from Tommy and the food is delicious. I had the lasagna and it may be the best I have ever had in a restaurant. Also the garlic knots are amazing!!! Les was our waiter and he was funny and super attentive. This place will absolutely go on the rotation. Really amazing!
