   Unfortunately this place is not anything great, and for the price it should be better. Also our server forgot about us quite a bit I finally had to ask management for our check.

   There was a lot of confusion in the kitchen and with being seated at the table. First, we were early for our reservation and were told we could not be seated because the kitchen could not handle early orders. It was 5:30 and the restaurant was not busy. After some conversation about ordering a drink first, we were seated. I felt sorry for our server because two of our guests have allergies to garlic. She returned multiple times with updates about which dishes were garlic free. We are frequent guests at the hotel and have experienced problems at breakfast, lunch and dinner. For an upscale restaurant in a fabulous hotel, this is unacceptable.

   Beautiful setting and great service, but food quality was mediocre to poor. One cocktail appeared to be only about half of a normal drink and most of it was ice. Scallop entree was satisfactory but only had four relatively small scallops. The chicken entree was very overcooked. The panna cotta dessert was delicious. This restaurant has such potential with its decor, location and views, but the food quality left us very disappointed. No plans to visit again unless we learn of a new chef or much better reviews from other diners.

   One of the worst experiences I have had at a restaurant. Our sever and manager both made several mistakes which led to a very unenjoyable dinner. The general attitude of the staff was that the customer is an annoyance.

   I don’t know why this restaurant isn’t busier - especially when there is an event at the Palladium. The food and menu is very good. Service excellent. Maybe they should offer a discount for patrons attending a Preformance at the Palladium??? We will go back!

    Vivante has a nice vibe in the evening for dinner with its "candle lit" tables and positioning next to the Monon. This was our first visit for dinner here and we were not disappointed. I really enjoyed the Scallop entree with a lovely risotto and others loved the Lemon Ravioli (both sweet and savory) and the Salmon which had a fabulous take on a creamed corn base. The service was attentive and the food was served in a timely way that allowed us to head to our show at the Palladium about 90 minutes after we arrived at the restaurant. Very nice evening and a fine experience at Vivante.
