Food was lovely but felt bit more expensive this time but maybe a sign of the times with cost of living. Im generally not a fan of chains but Wahaca always feels more personalised. The staff were brilliant as they always are in the brighton branch, so friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond helping my friend with a food intolerance navigate the menu.

Delicious food as always, welcoming and lively yet relaxing ambience. One of our favourites places, and I am addicted to the Hortacha rice milk with cinnamon!

We really enjoyed our date night at Wahaca Brighton. It was perfect for heading to the Brighton Dome for a show! It was easy to manage my husband’s allergies and the food was delicious!

Booked a table for seven. After arriving waitress spilled drink on the table and just said oh dear that’s the third time I’ve done that this evening. Didn’t bother to clear it up. Ordered food and only two starters arrived, then another two after 15 minutes and then some mains arrived which we sent back as had not received all the starters. When mains finally arrived only two came out then again after 20 minutes the remaining ones arrived. We were then asked before we had eaten our mains whether we wanted desserts as restaurant was closing for food. (8.30). When we complained we were told they had another table of a lot of people and that’s why service was bad. All in all an awful experience which was a shame as we were celebrating two birthdays. Will not be returning.

I know it’s standard now but to been asked three times about food allergies puts me off. I am from a generation where we all had some sort of allergies, let the customer talk, if you have, tell the restaurant. But too many questions. The lunch menu the waiter kind of recommended, which only came on recently, disgusting…. The Hummus definitely not my taste and the rest tasted more oregano less the same. Sorry, should have said something but the waiter was so excited about the menus, perhaps try it first next time recommending to customers

All the staff are uniformly magnificent. The food is unique and special. It's genuinely EXCITING to share and eat. (Try the Salsa Macha, it's a killer!!!) I have NEVER had a bad experience here, and will continue to bring friends and introduce them to the joys of Wahaca.

Love the food and atmosphere here - also, the fact the chicken is free range and the care that goes into the sourcing of food overall - makes such a difference! Always great service, and my son really enjoys the kids menu. Thanks for wonderful visit as always
