My friends and I will not return to West Plains Bistro. Austere greeting by staff member. Not seated at a booth as we asked early enough. Restaurant was full of same people that were still there when wait staff was sent over to ask us to leave because our table was needed. Yet I am in the parking lot and everyone else is still there that had arrived before us. Terribly rude and disappointing. You just lost us as customers. We had been there just under 1 and 1/2 hours and others were there long before us. Please say good bye to long time friend Annie . Food and wait staff great but there is no excuse for how we were treated. I suspect the hostess sent over the very timid girl who brought water to us during the meal to ask us to leave. She was so embarrassed. You need to screen your staff better. It will be hard to keep this a secret. First time being thrown out of a restaurant. Maybe because we weren't drinking wine?

What a wonderful experience! After several years of hearing about how wonderful the West Plains Bistro was I finally made a dinner reservation for Good Friday. From the minute I walked in I loved it! The atmosphere was very pleasant and inviting, the music soft and we were immediately greeted with a smile, checked-in and seated. The menu had a good variety of choices but we were there for Good Friday so it was fish n' chips all around. The french fries were perfectly crisp and the fish was quite a good size and perfectly battered. My son, who is a picky eater, said this was likely the best fish n' chips he had ever eaten. The coleslaw was obviously house-made and delicious. Not vinegary or creamy like in many other restaurants. We did order the Calamari and a charcutterie board, both very flavourful. Our server was very informative, friendly and efficient and didn't rush us at all, even though it was a busy night. I give this restaurant a 5-star all around. You will not be disappointed!

Great selection of dishes for lunch and staff/service was excellent . Definitely recommend it and will be back later this month. The Easter Egg cheesecake was incredible and a great addition to their menu for this time of year.

Disappointing, both meals were warm not hot. We rated the food less than the service which was fine.
