   Food was great and drinks were okay. The American Pie Old Fashioned did not deliver on the flavor profile and could not taste the peach. Loved having alcohol free options. Our waiter Billy was fantastic, attentive, and just a kind person! The vibe of the restaurant is modern country with a younger crowd. We were sat at a table in the bar area it was very loud and felt like we would’ve had a better experience if we sat in one of the side dining rooms. Overall, we will return but ask to sit in a different area.

   They were packed, so we were happy to have reserved. Despite being busy, the service was great, and the food was delicious. Our server was very aware of things taking some time, and she kept us updated and was very apologetic. We had a great time and will definitely go back.

   Friday night dinner reservations, 630pm for 10 people. Pretty packed, moderately loud environment. Waiter seemed a bit overwhelmed, domestic beer wasn't an option initially but brought out later. Food was good, drinks were good. Service was a bit slow between ordering drinks to apps and entrees. Would go earlier in the day. As the night went on crowds only got bigger.

   Fun, lively atmosphere. Food was very good, service was just okay. Asked for low dining table with reservation but only offered high table. A little pricey.

   Jade was our server she was excellent! The food was very flavorful. The restaurant was very clean and looked very welcoming. We will definitely return!

   The restaurant is themed nicely and very warm (but loud). Our server was excellent. She was very knowledgeable,and prompt. The food was decent. It wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad. I would eat here again, if someone wanted to meet there, and it looks like a good place for an after work drink or maybe appetizers with friends. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again, but it was pleasant.

   First drinks took 15-20 minutes to get to table. Shouldn’t take that long for a place who specializes in drinks, and has 4 Bartenders at the bar. Service was not great overall. Been to Whiskey Cake’s in Dallas and service at Jacksonville location has a lot of room for improvement.

   This was our first experience at Whiskey Cake and as former frequent customers of Ida Claire, we wanted to love it. I figured the cocktails would be the star of this restaurant considering its name and that it’s basically a bourbon bar. We had a table of 8 and we all agreed the drinks were watered down and lacked the flavor that was on the descriptions. If something has ginger in it, you should actually taste it, same with peach. Every Old Fashioned just tasted like watered down bourbon with no distinction. Onto the food - the Brussels sprouts appetizer was delicious. I had the shepherd’s pie which was good, but not something I would be running back to get as I felt it was a simple dish I could make at home. My husband thought his burger was good, but again, not something he’d have to come to Whiskey Cake for. My niece did like their chicken and waffles better than Ida Claire’s because it “wasn’t fancy”. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but it wasn’t a memorable one either. We would like to give them another chance - maybe for brunch before we call it quits on going to this location for my birthday yearly.

    Good food and service. Music way too loud to have a conversation without shouting. Felt that the price for the (small) glass of wine was disproportionate.
