Wild Blue is a distinguished Whistler fine-dining establishment that is devoted to Pacific Northwest cuisine, sustainable seafood, and locally-sourced ingredients. It is led by an exceptional team of partners: Neil Henderson, an award-winning Restaurant Director; Chef Alex Chen, 'Iron Chef' and recipient of Chef of the Year accolades by Vancouver Magazine; and Jack Evrensel, a distinguished member of the Restaurant Hall of Fame, who also founded and previously operated Toptable Group.     We came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday while skiing at Whistler for the week. We had a reservation and was seated promptly. They checked our coats which was nice too! Our server was amazing and was prompt and let us know about the specials. He put in our order and everything came out at the appropriate times… we started off with the bread service, beet salad and the hamachi crudo. Our mid course was the cavatelli with truffles and for the main we had the Australian wagyu strip and the sable fish! Everything was delicious!

    I don’t know why they are unable to make a Cosmo with a preferred vodka. The server said they make them by the ‘batch’. Quite disappointing that in a restaurant of this calibre the cocktails are pre-prepared. This created doubt as to the freshness of the food. My expectations were high because this wasn’t my first time jere.

    The ambience is beautiful, the menu is well designed with fresh local ingredients and executed with love and appreciation for the craft. The service is professional and engaged. We only get to Whistler once a year and Wild Blue is on our short list of must go to when we’re here. Make reservations before you’re in town or you’ll likely miss the opportunity.

    Exceptional service with elegantly presented and delicious food. The chef went above and beyond by writing a lovely birthday message with my dessert. We were seated next to a table that was quite loud. Our experience would have been a 5/5 but the noise level from the table next to us made it hard to relax and enjoy the ambience.
