The food was phenomenal as always but the service was some of the worst we’ve had in New Orleans. It wasn’t busy so I’m not sure why. The music was so loud I couldn’t hear the person right next to me talking. We practically had to shout at each other.

Great experience! Great food. Only suggestion is better lighting at each individual table. Sconce on the wall with low wattage bulb would be perfect.

It was good, but not quite the same as the scotch house. Overall, the environment was a little bit nicer and didn’t feel as cramped or rushed, but the food didn’t taste quite as good.

Yum fried chicken and sides. Don’t miss the buffalo cauliflower appetizer - it was the highlight.

The new Willie Mae’s NOLA recently opened. It is still “getting the kinks out” as you might imagine. The menu is basically the same as the mothership - Willie Mae’s Scotch House but the fried chicken coating and some of the sides aren’t as we expected given our experience eating at the Scotch House. But still a very good dining experience that we will go back to.

The air conditioner was broke so it was hot, they were out of multiple items on the menu. The chicken pieces were very small. The only good take away was Reagan our server did a wonderful job. Overall I was disappointed in my visit.

Food was amazing but restaurant was out of almost everything we wanted on the menu and they were out of the drink I wanted. Fried chicken was insane!
