   Winnie & Ethel’s – Social Media vs. Reality After seeing all the hype on social media, we had to check out Winnie & Ethel’s for breakfast. We visited on a weekday (Monday), excited for the $9.99 breakfast special we spotted online. Oddly, it wasn’t on the menu, but our server confirmed the deal—including coffee. My son, not a coffee fan, swapped for hot chocolate... which added $8 to the bill. We expected a vintage 1940s diner but found a brand-new spot styled like grandma’s dining room. Cute, but not quite the nostalgia we had in mind. The $.25 bottomless coffee? Also a bit misleading—only available with a regular entrée, not the special. And mimosas? $12 but not listed anywhere. On the bright side, service was fantastic, the food was hot and fresh, but the pricing and menu setup felt confusing. Worth the visit? Maybe—just read the fine print.

   We were seated right on time which I really appreciated. Everyone was very nice and the food was really good. It says they have decaf coffee on the menu and they did not— there didn’t seem to be an alternative. Also, they advertised on the front podium “cinnamon rolls”and says in the menu this is something they offer on weekends, but they did not have them until 10:45AM and we were there for an 8:30 AM reservation. Nothing terrible about any of that just making the comments. We will definitely come back though. Grilled cheese was really tasty and french fries were excellent and the potatoes that come with the diner breakfast were incredible.

   It was a great experience, breakfast was really good . Only drawback was the area it was located. Homeless man had to be aggressively removed because I guess he was harassing guests outside waiting for their table . Staff was attentive and you could tell everyone made an effort to take care of the diners. Would try it again but only if I had a male with me.

   Absolutely lovely place for an early date or family breakfast, the atmosphere is fantastic, lively, and they never made us feel rushed . My husband and I will definitely be back!

    Winnie and Ethel’s was SO GOOD! The service was great, the food was top-notch (and made from scratch), and the ambience was so cute (think Grandma’s kitchen). Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great Vegas off the strip.
