   Wolfgang's Steakhouse in Wailea is a dining experience unmatched on Maui. The dry-aged porterhouse steaks were succulent, the lobster bisque exquisite, the sides cooked to perfection. Eating simply brought a smile our faces. But, the best part of the experience was Aaron, our server. He was welcoming, attentive to our every need, thoroughly explained the menu, described the restaurant's history on Maui (opened in May 2024), and made us feel like 'ohana. Aaron no ka oi! There was another food server who assisted Aaron and he was equally as helpful. We chose to sit outside facing the parking lot. It was a very comfortable setting. I absolutely, 100%, recommend Wolfgang's for a steak and dining experience on Maui. And, ask for Aaron.

   We had an amazing dinner. Juan our waiter was super attentive as was Justin. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. Our steaks were melt in your mouth quality. The appetisers and side dishes were all amazing. Great wine list and of course dessert. Don’t miss the apple strudel. Wolfgang’s is the new kid on the block. It may go through some growing pains as it gains traction and acquire all the staff needed to run such a great spot. It starts and ends with the food…and the food was great. Thanks for an amazing meal and we look forward to our next visit.

   We were looking forward to trying Wolfgang's as we'd never been before. Made a reservation for 7:30, arrived 15 minutes early, and despite there being several unoccupied tables we were seated at the bar. At 7:45 we were shown to one of the unoccupied tables by the bar. The only difference I could see between the bar-side tables and the restaurant-side tables was the former have umbrellas in the middle and therefore don't have tablecloths. The umbrella (which was unneccessary after 7pm) proved unhelpful when it came to serving and sharing food. We ran into a couple of availability issues when it came to ordering: neither the Island Time cocktail nor the veal chop were available and we were limited to one slice of pecan pie. We also found it curious that menus didn't indicate the sizes of the cuts or indeed which cut was used in the "steak for two, three, four...". Our server, however, helpfully let us know that the steak would be a porterhouse. The staff were lovely and friendly but undertrained. Our server was quite unfamiliar with the wine list and no one refilled our wine or water throughout the meal. Communication amongst staff was also an issue (for example, we ordered one bottle of wine but two bottles were brought to the table by two different people). The steak itself was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Our starters and sides were decent. I understand that finding and retaining staff is an island-wide issue and has been for some time. I was told that the restaurant was understaffed, which accounted for the delays in seating us and the length of the meal (3ish hours). Many of the issues above would be less consequential if the prices weren't so high. We paid over $700 for three people (before tip). This comprised three cocktails, two starters, 'steak for three', two sides, one bottle of wine, two desserts, and one coffee. The pricepoint and aesthetic of Wolfgang's suggests fine dining; however, our experience was not.

   The service is amazing. I know the server tried to let us know the preparation did not add flavor to the Ahi Tuna, but it was a little surprising how it was prepared. The German potatoes also had little flavor.

   they should have not seated us if they couldn’t serve us. waited so long for a drink, then waited forever for food. when $200 tomahawk finally came it was cold.

   Very expensive! None of the dishes were exceptional which one would expect for the prices. The service was great. The food—not so much.

   Almost everyone was outstanding. Our waiter was okay. John (Manager), Grant, and others were phenominal making up for the waiter. Waiter forgot a drink and we often had to ask others for things because she didn't come around much.

   Excellet dinner starting with the Chopped Mix salad main course and the huge sides. Mushrooms were perfectly done. Going back in a few days for another dining experience.
