This is my 5th visit and I tend to try different dish every time. Last night, I tried macaroni and it was bland to my disappointment. I would add tabasco if I ordered the same dish next time. In any case, I will come back!

Easy to make a reservation here and thankful there was no credit card fee attached. No restaurant no matter how good is worth that. I had a glass of sav blanc...good. They change $8 for a bottle of still water and if you empty that they fill your glass with tap????? No option given as to tap or bottled at first. Steak tartar was ok. The waitress told us nothing was added to the meat but there were a few things added. Romaine salad was good but not sure the lettuce was the freshest....loved the onion strings on it. I had a hamburger which was good but I feel like the sauce should have been served on the side. The french fries that come with it were good. The rigatoni was the best dish served. The ravioli were good. The broccoli rabe was good and spicy but could have been cooked a little more and the spinach was not the best. The portion sizes are small to medium. The ambiance was amazing. Valet parking only which is a negative for me. For the price, I feel like the food should have been better. Would I go back? Probably not but it was a good experience.

Very mixed experience. Some of our food was outstanding, like the shrimp & grits starter, the gruyere funnel cake that came with the beet starter, and the rockfish. Some was ok but not great by a long shot: the beet starter with pastrami seasoning had only a tiny hit of seasoning and the swordfish piccata seemed to be missing any lemon. Bot seafood entrees came out warm but not hot and we chose not to send them back because then the fish would have been overcooked. Service was excellent but the noise level, even in a room off the main room, was deafening. We were disappointed that we were not given a comp'd dessert of some kind in honor of our anniversary, and the manager didn't seem to understand how disappointed we were or he would have offered a little something to take with us as we were leaving. He offered a free drink when we return but we won't be back.

Excellent food in large portions. The pace of the meal was not rushed or too slow. Ben, our waiter, made very good recommendations and explained the dishes in great detail. It was expensive, but we're happy with our choice for a special occasion.

Our first time at the restaurant - loved the setting and the food was absolutely delicious! Best steak I've had in a long time. Just wish there was more private seating.

Beautiful Restaurant with equally elevated food. Of course with this experience existing in a historical building there will be architectural challenges— for us a rainstorm caused for a leaky ceiling. The staff handled it so well!

My husband and I are DT Frederick locals. We keep hearing about this spectacular restaurant. Decided to give it a try for my birthday celebration. Our server was wonderful and patient. The food, including the roasted chicken and prime rib, was top notch! We would definitely come back again!
