   Xacalli Kitchen has delicious and creative Mexican dishes. Not your usual beans and rice. Nice OC California setting in a relaxed dining atmosphere. Great place to bring friends.

   The food was very good and the rustic canyon environment was fun. The craft cocktails were excellent. The food is served family style and the portions were small. The bill was reasonable in terms of today's prices, but we left hungry. The acoustics in the main dining room aren't great. It's noisy and difficult to carry on a conversation.

   Truly exceptional gourmet, authentic Mexican food. Not tacos and burritos! Fresh, unique seasonings, exquisite preparation and presentation. The best ceviche, best corn, and best mushrooms I have ever had. Period. Location is cool but inconvenient. Cozier lighting in the dining room would be nice.

   Xacalli is an amazing restaurant with great food and drinks. Our son loves this restaurant! He recommends the ceviche and carne asada plate. He especially enjoys the complimentary palette cleanser flavored ice they provide at the end of your course.

   A true hidden gem! We’re so grateful someone recommended this special spot nestled in the canyon. From Mimi at the front to Alex at the table, everyone was amazing! I love sharing a variety of dishes with friends, and we did just that. We tried the ceviche (my favorite!), carne cruda, enchilada, Birria, and Branzino. Each dish was packed with unique flavors and absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed a Mezcal Old Fashioned and a Spicy Margarita—both were spot on. We can’t wait to return to this beautiful restaurant!

   Very nice hidden gem. I would love to go back again and try something new. The corn tortillas are made in house and they taste extremely fresh. The hibiscus agua Fresca was refreshing!

   We love Xacalli Kitchen in beautiful Silverado. We’ve been there for dinner a couple of times and also had brunch there yesterday. This is elevated Mexican cuisine with sophisticated dishes and we have never been disappointed with our meals. It’s a beautiful short drive through Silverado canyon to the restaurant. We’ll be returning soon.

   Everything we had was amazing! Very unique and different flavors of Mexico. We haven’t had a dining experience like this since visiting Mexico City years ago. Now we know we’re to go when we want to have modern, elevated Mexican cuisine. We cannot wait to go back. Compliments to the Chef and staff!

    Well, the food here is amazing, the service is not. Last night I took two friends there. They had been wanting to try out Xacali since I had been bragging about how wonderful the food is. We got there at 6 PM and placed our order by 6:15 PM. After waiting for our main entrée for about an hour, we noticed that 4 to 5 other tables that had been seated and ordered after us had already been served their food. After waiting for our entrée for two hours, we finally had to cancel it. I had told the manager how frustrated I was with the service and no apologies. After dining at. Xacali at least 10 times as well as having my company holiday dinner there, sadly I won’t be going back. Just a warning, don’t show up hungry because it may take two hours to get your food.
