   Ordered the Veg Bento Box (plus a starter!). The bento box was ample so the starter was unnecessary. Had an Asahi beer & one glass of organic wine. It was delicious - all of it - and the waiter was attentive & courteous. I’m sure I’m old because it was SO noisy! However, it was just full of people having a good time so the fault lies with me.

   Whenever I come with my group to Yamamori South City for a meal, the food and service are always excellent, and our latest visit was no exception. However, coming as a group, the one difficulty we have is that the restaurant is a big place and always very full already at 6pm on a Saturday, so the noise level is always very high. That means we can only follow conversations with group members seated closest to us at the table, and not with the whole group; and a couple of times, members who use hearing aids have decided not to come along, as it is difficult for them to enjoy the experience. As the conversation is an important part of the evening for us, we may find it suits us better to eat at smaller places where it is less noisy. That does not reflect badly in any way on Yamamori, who cannot be faulted for being extremely popular! It is simply something that other people may wish to know before booking a table for a group.

Yes that is true, as we gets busy, the energy and conversation can pick up and we understand that it can sometimes make it harder to talk. However, we have a little bit quiet atmosphere during a week. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday these days are what we recommend to dine if you are looking for quieter environment and I think these are great days to catch up with your friends without hassle ;) -Also usually there is no time limit on these days too!- But thank you again for visiting and leave us a honest and great review!    I've been there several times, and every time I'm surprised by the excellent service, wonderful food and the fact that we always leave you feeling at ease! Congratulations to the management, waiters and kitchen staff.

   This is one of our favourite restaurants and definitely our happy place. Went there last night for our wedding anniversary and everybody was so lovely. The food is amazing and seems to get better all the time.

   I don't know how to rate it as I'm not familiar with Japanese food but we had a selection of dishes and enjoyed them all. The servers were really good - efficient, friendly and helpful. The seating looked like old church pews so could have done with a cushion but I liked the glass panel between booths which meant the acoustics were good.
