   Playing loud music on a video monitor undermines them trying to be an elegant restaurant. Despite numerous requests to lower the volume they did not. At no point did anyone ask how we were doing. The food is great if not somewhat overpriced. They need to decide if they want to be a bar or a fine dining restaurant. We would have ordered more but just lost interest. If I go back it will be with hearing protection but with so many other choices honestly why bother? Given that the restaurant was mostly empty (8pm or so) I think they need to make some decisions. The chef is obviously talented but the staff is somewhat disinterested in the guests and everything is drowned out by the inappropriate (really “margaritaville”?) and loud music. Probably more for the staff. Just so disappointing.

   We love this place and each time we dine at YEO, the service, food and ambiance are top notch. The management and staff know and greet is as family each time we dine. We will definitely be back very soon.

   The place is beautiful and the sashimi is very fresh. My only complaints (which prevented 5 stars) is that the vegetables inside of the tempura were not sufficiently cooked. For example the carrots were hard as they are when raw and not sliced. Also to get to the bathrooms you have to walk up two full flights of stairs.
