The Golden Orb Chef's Experience An intimate one-of-a-kind Semi private dining space. Dine in our dramatic golden orb-shaped dining room artfully suspended from the ceiling. The ultimate vantage point to see how the night unfolds. Suited to smaller groups from 6 to 9 guests. Guests dine on our 6 course “Chefs Experience” set menu. *The Golden Orb has a minimum spend of $2,500 on Friday and Saturday Dietary and allergy requirements can be catered for if mentioned at the time of booking or 24 hours prior booking. Cancellation within less than 24 hours or reduced numbers prior to 5pm incur a $100 cancellation charge per person, reduced number of guests on arrival incur a charge of full amount of the set menu.

My second time returning as we loved it so much the first time. However, even with a wide selection of items from the a la carte menu, a lot of them were surprisingly spicy (and we aren't afraid of spice). Also, recommend you don't book an early sitting as the courses come out fast and throughout our sitting we had multiple waiters urge us on to order drinks, then food, then when we asked for the food to be slowed down, then dessert etc. The restaurant itself is stunning and a beautiful shift from the usual.

Incredible experience all round, delicious food, stunning venue, the service was impeccable with wait staff being incredibly attentive. Highly recommend will definitely return.

My new favourite Japanese restaurant I've ever been to. The ambience of Yugen just captures you the minute you walk in. And the food is ridiculously delicious! We had a lovely Japanese waitress looking after us, who was wonderful and explained everything beautifully. I think her name was Toshiko. Lovely dining experience and highly recommend. Treat yourself!
