ZEST is the second venture for the owners of Grille 3501, an upscale casual restaurant which has sustained continued growth and success for over 20 years. Located on the 6th floor of the Gateway Building on the South Side of Bethlehem, ZEST has had the honor of being awarded the Lehigh Valley's favorite rooftop of 2021, favorite atmosphere of 2020, and favorite new restaurant of 2019. Chef Sean Rainey brings New American cuisine to life with signature dishes including braised beef short ribs and crab & mango spring rolls. The views whether you choose to sit indoors or outdoors are unparalleled. The 130 seat balcony lets you take in the sights of the southside like the steel stacks, Fahy and Hill to Hill bridges, and Bethlehem city hall in the distance. ZEST also features a partially open kitchen design, large 20 seat bar, and an indoor space with panoramic accordion sliding windows that let you experience the best of both worlds.

    The place has a wonderful atmosphere and the service was great. The food was ok. The porkchop dish was super salty as well as the clam appetizer. By the time I got to the end of the meal, I couldn't finish it because it was so salty. I thought I was the only one, but everyone in my table was of the same consensus. Good to have a drink, enjoy the ambiance, but not the food.

    Great Food and service fillet minion melted in your mouth and was cooked to perfection. Also had the salmon which was excellent. Nice variety of cocktails. Great views of the city we definitely will be back

    Zest continues to be my favorite restaurant, however this was the first time I was disappointed with my entre. I ordered chicken with mushrooms and wild rice. The chicken was very dry and I didn't eat it. The mushrooms and wild rice were delicious. The specialty drinks and desserts were fabulous.

    The food and service are always great at Zest, and you can't beat the rooftop view when you eat outside. My daughter has food allergies and the staff was fantastic at making sure her needs were met while still serving her a fantastic meal.
