Here at ZIGU, we believe the key to running a successful restaurant is to serve fresh local ingredients. We cook in a Japanese style using only ingredients found here in Hawaii. We will soon be opening our doors to customers. You'll enjoy authentic Japanese cooking and sake either inside our cozy interior or outside our spacious courtyard terrace.

He helped us navigate the menu and we were very happy with everything he recommended. The food was as good as it gets and the service was delightful. The tuna sashimi was out of this world - a spiritual experience! Pacing of meal was perfect, waiter excellent, ambience lively, warm, but not too loud. 5/5, will be coming back!

                                                                                                                  All the dishes we had were tasty and a good example of Japanese/Hawaiian. Cocktails were okay. Had a four year old and he loved the noodles. Service was good. Waiter was attentive and explained dishes well. Wish we were given new napkins and dishes as it was kind of tapas style with rounds of pricey dishes. Felt that detail would have made dining experience much better.

Wednesday is sake discount day- 20 percent off every bottle. The waiter brought us three samples after telling him what kind of sakes we like. All good choices. Casual setting and guests. No need to dress up. A little gem.
