A reimagined take on French cuisine in the West Village, where Chef Maxime Pradié’s menu draws from the flavors of the South of France and the culinary traditions of his Franco-Italian roots. Excellent service and the staff was very attentive. Great wine by the glass suggestion from our server. Sorry to say the food fell flat. Oysters with frozen Mignonette sauce did not work. Tasted like we were eating a half frozen oyster. Pesto pasta was good but not good enough to get us to come back. Salmon was bland and totally uninspiring. Too bad we were really looking forward to a great new restaurant in the West Village.

Very solid. Food is generally delicious. Wine program definitely punches above its weight with many cool selection. It's a very cozy west village vibe. The overall bill seemed a touch steep (my wine selections didn't help). Early days for this restaurant and I suspect it will only get better.

Zimmi's has my heart! My boyfriend and I had stumbled upon Zimmi's on social media and could not wait to check out the menu! The ambiance and service are fantastic and the food is out of this world! We made a reservation a few weeks back and have been on the edge of our seat to try the food; upon our arrival we were quickly taken to our table (highly recommend making a reservation). We were then given our menus and asked if we wanted to kick-off with some drinks, I had a dirty martini (so perfect) and my boyfriend had a half bottle of Syrah (which was chilled and full of flavor) From there we placed our food order: Appetizers: - French fries (not on the menu, these fries blew our mind! Crispy and full of seasoning!) - Moules Farcies (these mussels are incredible! And trying to explain the flavor would not do it justice) order this dish!! Main courses: - Pasta Davia (the pesto alongside the beans just melted my heart! I am still dreaming about all the flavors) - Échine De Porc (my boyfriend said was something special that touched his soul and melted in his mouth) Dessert: - Pavé Au Chocolate (not my favorite, but if you like rich chocolate desserts then this would be right up your alley) the crème anglaise was wonderful and full of zest! I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed Zimmi's! If you are looking for the perfect date night restaurant in the West Village, look no further than Zimmi's

Do not charge me bread with pâté it is not right ! I had to tell them .

Showed up 9:11 for 9:15 reservation & only sat at 9:35. Staff was apologetic and wonderful but overall food was not memorable. The best dish was the pate de campagne and the wines we shared were very nice. The moules were dry, the pasta davia was overcooked, the lamb stew was dry/bland and the pork collar was 3 artfully placed pieces of fatty pork w two dandelion leaves & some cooked onions. Sadly they were out of beef Bourgogne and sub was a 50/60 ounce dry aged steak. Overall not great dining and I would not go back.
